There is just one midweek Premier League clash set to take place this week as Chelsea host Tottenham at 7:30 pm BST on Thursday, April 2.
Chelsea go into the game at Stamford Bridge as 23/20 favourites to pick up the win, while Tottenham are 2/1 to come away from West London with three points.
The Blues are also looking to take one step closer to a seven-finish. Tottenham, on the other hand, are aiming to close the gap on 4th-place Aston Villa.

Chelsea head into Thursday’s game having lost just one of their last five Premier League outings. However, a draw with Aston Villa last time out and a 5-0 hammering at the hands of Arsenal the fixture prior means the Blues cannot really afford to drop any more points this season if they are to finish in the top seven.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side are currently 9th in the league, five points off 7th-place Newcastle and six points off 6th-place Manchester United. Their meeting with Tottenham is their game in hand on both of those teams, meaning anything but a win would leave them with a major mountain to climb in the race for European football.
As for Tottenham, their 3-2 defeat versus Arsenal this past weekend left them 5th in the division and seven points adrift of 4th-place Aston Villa.
Tottenham have two games in hand on Unai Emery’s side, one of which is versus Chelsea, but even if they win both of those matches, they will still be a point off Villa with three to play. In turn, Thursday’s encounter is a must-win for the Lilywhites.
