Manchester City vs Tottenham Hotspur Bet Builder Tips - Sunday 4:30pm

Tottenham have actually won five of their last seven Premier League meetings with Manchester City, although Spurs have lost ten of their last 14 visits to the City of Manchester Stadium, and we think the latter will be more relevant than the former this afternoon.

We’ve got the action at Etihad Stadium covered with our 17/2 Bet Builder.

Manchester City half time/full time

Up against a very depleted Spurs side, we’re fully expecting Manchester City to win this one very easily.

The visitors are without Cristian Romero, Micky van de Ven, possibly Pape Matar Sarr, Rodrigo Bentancur, Ivan Perišić, Richarlison and James Maddison, so will be deploying a back four entirely of full-backs.

Following loses against Chelsea, Wolves and Aston Villa, defeat here would see Tottenham lose four successive Premier League games for the first time since March 2004 under David Pleat, finished 14th back then.

As for Manchester City, they’ve now scored 50 times in all competitions this season, with 16 of their 33 goals in the Premier League (48.5%) coming in the first half.

Both teams to score and over 4.5 goals

As mentioned, we foresee a goal-fest in East Manchester.

The Sky Blues’ last eight matches have featured 35 goals, that’s 4.4 per 90, with both teams scoring in six of these eight fixtures.

Both teams have scored in nine of Spurs’ last 11 outings, games that have produced 36 goals, a slightly lower if not still generally high ratio of 3.3 per 90.

Tottenham’s last ten visits to the Etihad have seen both teams score on eight ocassions, with their 11 outings there in the past decade producing a whopping 49 goals, a whopping 4.5 per game!

Erling Braut Håland to score more than once

Already this week, Erling Braut Håland has become both the fastest player to reach 50 Premier League goals (48 appearances) and the fastest player to 40 Champions League goals (35 appearances).

He scored in Man City’s 4-2 victory over Tottenham in January and, up against a makeshift back-line, we expect Håland to have a field day.

Tottenham Hotspur 2+ cards

Ange Postecoglou’s team have accumulated 40 yellow cards and three reds this season, with last Sunday’s defeat at Aston Villa the first time they’d gone through a game without picking up any cards.

Nevertheless, having collected at least two in ten of their previous 11 outings, we’d be very surprised if referee Simon Hooper didn’t caution at least two Spurs players.

What is a football bet builder?

A football bet builder is a betting feature that allows bettors to create their own custom bets for a football match. Bettors can choose from a variety of different betting markets, such as first goal scorer, total goals, and corner kicks, and combine them into a single bet.

How does a football bet builder work?

To use a football bet builder, a bettor selects a match and uses the bet builder feature within the operator website or app. You can then build your bet with a variety of different selections (usually up to around 5-6), this could be shots on targets, match corners, number of cards, fouls etc. The list goes on.. and depends on what the operator offers. Once you have created your bet builder, the odds for each selection are combined to create an overall odds price for the custom bet.
