However, unlike sites such as BetVictor or Betfred which are serious bet builder players, some markets are more limited in scope here.
Nevertheless, as you will discover in this review, those who love horse racing betting will surely love BetGoodwin. It has virtually everything you could want in terms of features and exciting bonuses, putting it almost on a level footing with the likes of Betfred and Coral that are well versed in providing a robust experience for its customers.
This online betting site hasn't received any industry accolades, but it's still relatively early days. It can often take newer betting sites, such as BetGoodwin or even All British to take time to make its mark.

User Experience - My Personal View
For any given bookmaker review, a good starting point is assessing the desktop UX. When I made my way to the BetGoodwin home page, I noticed the site looked rather similar to fellow betting sites Parimatch and talkSPORT Bet from a design perspective. The yellow and black hue of the site was distinctive, and it looked rather sleek.
Navigating towards my preferred areas of the site was seamless, and everything was well signposted. I could pinpoint the sports I wished to bet on, such as golf or greyhound racing, and with the help of the betting slip, I could fill in a slip with minimal fuss. On that note, with some sports, such as golf, extra places are paid out (five instead of four) at odds of 1/4.
The mobile platform largely resembled the desktop product, and there were no technical glitches or bugs to contend with. Speed is something I cherish from any given online bookmaker I wish to play at, and I was happy with what I found here.
The site was inviting and there were a few decent customised features available, such as quick bets and featured bets containing popular wagers placed by punters.
However, I do like the Create-A-Bet, which as mentioned, are essentially bet builders, and this is something that any bookmaker worth its salt will deliver. I'm thinking along the lines of BetVictor, although they have a few more team props. Players can personalise their bets at BetGoodwin, and there are still ample markets to tuck into.
Strangely, I couldn't see a Favourites tab, which is something that appeals, especially if I've checked out a market and want to bookmark it before I forget about it. This, I believe, shouldn't be too much to ask for given Bet Goodwin has most other bases covered, including extensive offers for Goodwin racing, and more.
Mobile Betting Experience
This sub-section of the review compares the mobile product to the app. You'll be relieved to know BetGoodwin has a fully functioning native betting app, unlike other sports betting operators such as Neptune Play, giving it a slight edge. However, I found the app a bit more fiddly, in terms of toggling between the areas. I would like to have seen the A-Z drop-down menu of sports and betting options more clearly visible.
Also, the sportsbook promotions, including the welcome bonus, seemed to be hidden. The offers should be a prominent aspect of any given site, and that is the case at the likes of BetMGM and bet365 which always want to draw your attention to these.
The BetGoodwin app has been largely under-reviewed, especially when you consider the volume of ratings other UK sports betting titans have received. I'm an iOS user, and I noticed BetGoodwin averaged 3.4 stars out of 5 which was quite telling, but perhaps more interesting was that one reviewer insisted the mobile betting product was better than the app.
The mobile product was a bit faster than the app, and the information presented was rearranged differently. However, the app is safe, and you can set up FaceID to log in.
Yes, Cash Outs are available at BetGoodwin, and players can cash out bets in their entirety or partially. The live betting area, however, piqued my interest. Take tennis for example. You will get stylish graphics detailing the key stats, and there are also quick links to the ATP rankings so you can follow the latest shifts in the men's game. There was little to fault here comparing favourably with the likes of LiveScore Bet that fares well in this area.
BetGoodwin offers live streaming sports, however, this was only available for horse racing and greyhound racing. A £2 stake requirement was needed for the greyhounds, whereas at other sites, such as bet365, you just need to have placed a bet in the past 24 hours to enjoy unfettered access.
I think the app needs jazzing up, and with customer support, for example, it would have been better to have incorporated a live chat button at the bottom of the page to make it quicker for customers to get in touch. More on that to follow later.
BetGoodwin Betting Markets & Odds
BetGoodwin's roster of sports stretches to 21, which feels a bit on the small side, considering the likes of Virgin Bet and talKSPORT Bet have considerably more.
However, if it is same-game accumulator bets or singles you are after, BetGoodwin offers plenty for bettors in terms of sports markets to sink their teeth into.
Indeed, this operator can be relied upon for competitive odds. Best Odds Guaranteed (BOG) are wrapped into the horse racing package. This applies to all UK and Irish horse races, and what's there not to like about being paid out at the Starting Price (SP) if it is bigger than the original price taken?
As mentioned, Create-a-bet is a wonderful add-on. My one sticking point, however, were the Price Boosts. They are listed as an option, however, when I did some more digging around, it wasn't clear which sports carried odds boosts.
Some sports, such as boxing, could have benefitted from having more markets advertised as opposed to just the Fight Winner or Draw No Bet. Having more round wagers would give players more flexibility with betting options.
I also think an Early Payout (EP) option would have been appreciated. Many sites have this, such as bet365 and this is usually advertised as a 2Up, where if a team goes 2-0 up, you can retrieve money early.
I feel needs to be a few more customised options. Betfair has tried to take the lead on this, and in 2025, it launched the Betfair build-ups. The premise of this is to customise bets for users, enable to wager on players across key performance metrics, such as goals and assists. It has a head-to-head feel, so I feel BetGoodwin would benefit from some more innovative features to stand out from the crowd.
BetGoodwin Betting Bonuses and Promotions
BetGoodWin has a good track record. Generally, free bet offers, such as the ones found at Betfred (Bet £10 Get £50 in Free Bets) or BoyleSports' Get £40 in Free Bets is a crowd-pleaser, but BetGoodWin tries to shake things up with a money-back style offer awarded as a free bet discussed in the next section of this bookmaker review.
Away from that, the BetGoodwin offers extend to best odds and acca insurances which is great if you are worried about a leg letting you down when you place bets.

Customer support is taken seriously at BetGoodwin. A live chat facility is available, although you will need to fill in a brief description of your enquiry before you can start talking to a bot. The live chat facility was fine, and there is an email option, but response times vary.
However, I was dismayed there were no FAQs. This is almost unheard of, and most other sites are comprehensive in this area. BetGoodwin is trying to grow on Instagram, but there was no mention of its social media activities.

My Verdict
In summary, Betgoodwin caught my eye with its approach to horse racing. The range of offers too were extensive, far surpassing other new sites, such as easyBet which only seems to have a welcome deal.
However, there were some causes for concern. The lack of banking methods was a big oversight given most sites have a range of e-wallets to tuck into for making deposits and withdrawals, while having a few more customised betting options wouldn't have gone amiss.
That said, BetGoodwin is still in the early stages of its development as a bookmaker. At the moment, I would recommend this site to horse racing enthusiasts, but I expect this to change moving forward.
