Latest Premier League Betting Tips
The Premier League programme has been slightly condensed this weekend with Liverpool and Newcastle both contesting the League Cup Final on Sunday afternoon at Wembley.
This will represent the last round of top-flight games before domestic duties make way for the international break.
But don’t let that get you down. The Freebets team have been busy, and a three-fold for Sunday's action.
Sunday 16 March
Arsenal v Chelsea - Double Chance: Arsenal/Draw
While the chances of ending their 20+ year wait to lift the Premier League title have evaporated for Arsenal, they will still have been pleased with the performance against PSV in the Champions League in midweek.
Well, it was a dead rubber, but their reward for a 9-3 aggregate victory is a mouthwatering quarter-final clash with the mighty Real Madrid.
Back to the here and now, and a London Derby with fierce rivals Chelsea is the pick of the matches of today.
With Chelsea, they have struggled for consistency even though they have made strides under Enzo Maresca.
Cole Palmer (14 Premier League goals to date) has been misfiring, and that of course, will be a concern for all those in the Blues camp.
I just can’t see the Gunners losing this one, so instead I’ve gone for Double Chance. A win or draw for Arsenal will see you get a return on your stake and it is worth latching onto.
Fulham v Tottenham - Fulham to Win & BTTS
Tottenham will have breathed a huge sigh of relief last weekend against Bournemouth. Trailing 2-0 after 65 minutes, they came to life and salvaged a point in a thrilling 2-2 draw.
Ange Postecoglou’s side have been rather cagey at times, and too often, they have made slow starts.
Fulham are safely in mid-table, and with an outside chance of European football, but they won’t want to let their season fizzle out.
In the corresponding fixture last term, Fulham surged to a comfortable 3-0 victory, and while it might not be as emphatic a scoreline this term, I’m drawn to the Fulham to win & BTTS line.
Leicester v Manchester United - Over 11.5 corners
Manchester United head to the King Power Stadium this weekend, and this will be the fourth time these sides will face off.
Intriguingly, United have won their past three previous clashes covering three different cup competitions, and have won by an aggregate of 10-3.
There is, of course, the Ruud van Nistelrooy factor, and while he probably still holds a soft spot for his former employers, there is no room for sentiment at this level.
Leicester’s predicament is worrying, and they just seem to be leaking goals left, right, and centre.
United, meanwhile, are 14th in the table, and they have their own problems to work through under Ruben Amorim.
Anyway, this could well be an intriguing clash, and this meeting usually provides goals.
However, I’m going for the corners market instead here. In the previous league game at Old Trafford, seven corners were awarded during the 90 minutes. However, I’ve been a bit bolder with my tip here and gone for the Over 11.5 corners line to be hit which doesn’t seem too fanciful.

Premier League Outright Tips
It’s the start of a new Premier League season, and as usual a summer of transfer activity and international football has fans dreaming of going one step further in the upcoming season.
One of our Premier League tipsters, Will Jackson, is here to provide his pre-season tips across a number of outright markets, including his pick to lift the title in May, a relegation treble and more. Pre-season predictions are all part of the fun, so be prepared for some picks that could look silly come December and some longshots that could be worth a cheeky low-stakes approach....
Arsenal to win the Premier League - 15/8 with bet365
Okay, to start off with I’m not sticking my neck out there that much with this one, but I do fancy Arsenal to finally take that next step this season. They have threatened Manchester City for the past two seasons but do appear to be getting stronger and stronger, and City on the other hand....I’m not convinced they have strengthened this season.
There are rumours Kevin De Bruyne could be on his way out, Julian Alvarez is set to leave at the time of writing, there have been no major incoming and Pep Guardiola is likely to leave at the end of the season. This is all with the threat of Premier League sanctions hanging over their heads and could can actually find City at shorter odds to get relegated than the likes of Brighton and West Ham, with some bookies thanks to the threat of a potential points deduction.
Arsenal are clearly the time waiting to capitalise on any slip-ups, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see them make one more major signing after Riccardo Calafiori between now and September. He is not to everyone’s taste but Mikel Arteta has done a superb job at the Emirates - though I still think they need to guarantee more goals from Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus.
Nottingham Forest to be relegated - 11/4 with BetVictor
Again, this isn’t a huge leap to say Nottingham Forest are facing the drop, but I have been surprised to see how many people are suggesting the promoted three will go straight back down this year. If Leicester are deducted points as expected, then they would appear certainties (I would have tipped for them to be bottom on Christmas Day but there is just no value in it), while I’m not convinced Ipswich will be able to hack it next year.
Yes they have done remarkably to achieve back-to-back promotions, but they did show signs of cracking at times last year and had a pretty ropey defence. There is a chance they could start positively but I expect that to catch up with them and the second half of the season could be a struggle similar to how Luton went last year, and I think Forest will join them.
I haven’t been impressed with Nottingham Forest for some time, and expected more of an uplift in performance when Nuno Espirito Santo took charge last year. They have done really well so far to keep hold of Morgan Gibbs-White - let’s see if that’s still the case in a few weeks time - but I don’t see much quality in that squad. It will be interesting to see how Elliot Anderson fits in after a surprisingly big-money move from Newcastle, no pressure, but I can’t see the goals in the squad and think they will be dragged closer and closer to the bottom three through the season.
Enzo Maresca the first manager to be sacked - 16/1 with Paddy Power
Sorry, I just don’t see this one. I could be made to look a fool with this and Maresca could get the best out of some talented players at Chelsea, but it’s just a bit of a madhouse down at Stamford Bridge these days. Their pre-season results have not been impressive and Maresca is already making noises that sound suspiciously like excuses.
Even despite leading Leicester immediately back to the Premier League in his first season as a manager in English football, Maresca attracted a fair amount of criticism from his own fans and I really think the same thing could happen here. If the wins don’t come easily, the style of play could get on the nerves of Blues fans and we already know that Todd Boehly isn’t afraid to make the call.
Mauricio Pochettino was flattered massively last season by an incredible run of form from Cole Palmer and while I think he is a really talented player, I would be amazed if his output is anywhere near the same level this season (that’s a tip for you, FPL fans). A fit-Christopher Nkunku could be the tonic to that, but I’m also amazed Chelsea are willing to sell Conor Gallagher, someone who held things together and emerged as a leader last season. I’d be amazed if Maresca finishes the season in charge, and I think things could get pretty toxic for a club that is rapidly losing its identity. This could be the next step in that direction.

Placing a football acca bet is one of the most common ways to get a wager down, and the Premier League plays a big part in that.
The downside of an acca is you need every selection to win, but the big positive with an acca is the odds on offer. Usually big, as each selection rolls up onto the next, an acca bet is a great way to get big returns for a small stake when placing your Premier League bets.
On a Premier League matchday we will cover the Premier League in our daily acca tips, but on any other given day you can follow our latest acca of the day.
