Manchester City Premier League Relegation Odds: 28/1 to go down

Manchester City have been priced at 28/1 to suffer relegation from the Premier League in the upcoming season.

The Sky Blues are the current league champions and obviously would not go down in normal circumstances. However, City were hit with 115 Premier League charges for alleged financial irregularity over a year ago – charges they strongly deny.

The disciplinary commission hearing the Manchester City case has limitless powers. This means City could be kicked out of the Premier League or have a massive fine imposed – or both. Alternatively, they might suffer a huge points deduction imposed at a specific time, including at the start of a new season.

So, while unlikely, there is a slim chance the Manchester outfit could be hit with a points deduction big enough to mean they end up being relegated from the Premier League in 2024/25.
