It's a little less outdated than William Hill which could do with a bit of a revamp, but the site was devoid of any technical glitches that can often ruin things.

Mobile Betting Experience
The Betfred app deserves plenty of plaudits. It mirrors virtually every aspect of the mobile and desktop website, and one thing that stood out were the price boosts which are decent. Any decent sports betting operation provides excellent cross-platform performance, and that applies to Betfred. That said, if you are looking to deviate away from sport, Betfred is politically minded. The coverage is split into UK and US politics, and it includes specials on elections and politicians. This is pretty robust compared to Ladbrokes which is also well versed in political futures.
Betfred offers decent margins and its odds pre-match are competitive across most sports, including football and tennis. I pointed out earlier that the price boosts weren't as strong as Paddy Power, but don't let that deter you. The Acca Flex is worthwhile as you can place a pre-match acca with five or more legs. If you win, your winnings will be boosted by up to 100%. If one leg lets you down, you can get £10 cashback, so I was happy with that.
On the in-play betting front, Betfred does a great job. As a tennis fan, I thought the in-play area was slick and the range of stats stumped up should be admired. At the Italian Open, for example, I could see how many aces, double faults, and first serves Coco Gauff made against Mirra Andreeva. This puts it a notch above some of its rivals where the in-play betting platform feels like an afterthought.
Betfred has a tennis free bet club which isn't too dissimilar to the Betway free bet club. For tennis, you can bet on three matches across a Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday, and your average stake will be matched in free bets up to £10 which is worthwhile. As you will discover, the Betfred free bets are a big selling point.
The live streaming service is decent, but it isn't as robust as bet365. As long as you have an active Betfred account with a minimum cash balance of £0.01, you can enjoy this privilege. The live streaming transmission can have delays of up to 30 seconds, which admittedly, is quite frustrating.

My Verdict
