Chargers
The Panthers were abysmal in Week 1, suffering a 47-10 defeat to the Saints, and they appear to be a team in serious trouble.
Pair that with a solid performance from the Chargers, who secured a win over the Raiders, and I’m backing the Chargers to come out on top again in this matchup.
49ers
The 49ers demonstrated their quality on Monday Night Football last weekend, and I believe they can replicate that performance here.
While the Vikings deserve some credit for their victory over the Giants, it’s worth noting that the Giants were disappointing. The 49ers will provide a much tougher challenge, and I’m backing the Niners to come out on top in this one.
Jaguars
The Jags came close to securing a win in Miami, narrowly losing to a last-second field goal, but they can draw plenty of positives from their performance.
On the other hand, the Browns had a dreadful showing and have a lot to address this week. I’m backing the Jags to get their first win of the season in this matchup.
Jets
The way the Tennessee Titans collapsed last Sunday was concerning, and they’re expected to face significant challenges, particularly with major uncertainties at quarterback.
The Jets came close to upsetting the 49ers, and if they can replicate that level of performance, it should be enough for them to secure a win in this matchup.
Seahawks
After a few early hiccups, the Seattle Seahawks showed their quality last weekend by pulling away to defeat Denver. I expect them to build on that performance and improve further here.
They face the Patriots, who were surprise winners in Week 1, but I don’t foresee a repeat performance. This match should follow the form book, with Seattle coming out on top.
