PGA Tour Golf Betting Tips & Betting Offers: Genesis Invitational

The PGA Tour roadshow continues in full throttle this week with The Genesis Invitational in our latest golf betting tips.
Those of you who are eagle-eyed will also recognise something familiar about the venue.
Indeed, Torrey Pines will stage this event and this idyllic course provided the setting for the Farmers Insurance Open.
Tiger Woods will be teeing it up, and he has been given a special exemption. More recently, he has been the forgotten man of golf despite his raft of achievements during a trophy-laden career.
Last weekend saw yet another new winner, and this time, Thomas Detry conquered the desert to claim his maiden PGA Tour title at the Phoenix Open. We’re not quite sure whether he caught the Philadelphia Eagles stun the Kansas City Chiefs in the Superbowl on TV later that day, but the Belgian would have had one hell of a party that’s for sure!
To the here and now, The Genesis Invitational is one of eight Signature Events this season, so it carries a certain level of prestige.
But what should you expect? I’ve plunged into the betting markets and plucked out a couple of golf betting tips for your perusal, plus the top golf betting offers from the best golf betting sites.

Genesis Invitational Preview
Justin Thomas back in the big time
A serial winner on the PGA Tour (15 titles and counting), it seems baffling that Justin Thomas’ last triumph came in 2022 at the PGA Championship.
He’s lifted some of the sport’s most lucrative prizes, including the WGC-FedEx St Jude Invitational and the Players Championship, but success has eluded him more recently.
That said, Thomas has looked like a well-oiled machine in 2025 so far, with three top-30 finishes, and that included a runner-up at The American Express last month.
The American has fared well at The Genesis Invitational, and he can count on a few top-10 finishes, while his average score has been around the -14 mark.
The winning score last year came from reigning champion Hideki Matsuyama (-17), and Thomas could well emulate that or even surpass it given the form he’s in.
Scottie Scheffler is working his way into form after his layoff, but I’m leaning into Thomas to come out on top this weekend. A juicy price of 18/1 can be located at Paddy Power.
Jordan Spieth to hit the front after Round 1
After a five-month hiatus for Jordan Spieth following his recovery from wrist surgery, he has badly missed the game.
But Spieth produced some vintage moments in the final round at the Phoenix Open, shooting a 68 to come home in T4, his first top-five in 13 months.
The Phoenix Open was just his second competitive start, but there were certainly some very encouraging signs.
He ranked second for Strokes Gained: Approach the Green during the week, and he registered just two bogeys across 72 holes.
To wrap up my golf betting tips, I’m going with Spieth to take the lead after Round 1, and although he’s priced at 40/1 with bet365, don’t let that put you off.
