On Saturday, despite taking the lead through David Turnbull’s 86th minute penalty, the Hoops then conceded in stoppage time as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Motherwell.
This blow was then softened the following day as Rangers were also held to a draw, meaning the gap at the top of the Scottish Premiership remains eight points, with the leaders having played a game more.
