How Fantasy Racing Points are Scored
Points are awarded based on where your horse finishes and how many runners are in the race, with bigger fields offering slightly higher rewards to reflect increased difficulty.
The winner always earns at least 20 points, rising to 30 points in races with 30+ runners. Second and third place also score solid points, and in larger fields points are awarded further down the finishing order — as far as 9th place in the biggest races.
Horses that finish 10th or lower (but complete the race) score 0 points. If a horse is brought down, unseats the rider, or refuses to race, it still earns 1 consolation point.
There is also a margin bonus for winners:
- Win by 1 length or more and earn extra bonus points (from 1 up to 5 depending on field size).
- Win by less than 1 length and no bonus is awarded.
Overall, bigger races mean more opportunity to score — both through higher finishing points and larger winning margin bonuses.

Game Prizes
Daily Game Prize Values should be as follows:
- 1st Place: £/€100
- 2nd Place: £/€50
- 3rd Place: £/€25
Dead Heats
Should a dead heat occur, both horses will be awarded the points for their finishing position. For example, if there is a dead heat for 1st place, both horses will score the winning points.
Non Runner Replacement Before First Race
If you have a non-runner in your stable, you can edit this selection an unlimited amount of times before the start of the first race.
This will allow you to chance the non-runner, or change a number of horses to allow for a different makeup within your stable budget.
Non Runner Replacement After First Race
If you have one or more non-runners after the game has started, the non-runner will be automatically replace in your stable by another runner using the following priority order:
- A horse of equal value, if more than one is available, the horse with the lowest racecard number
- If there is no horse of equal value, then the horse with the nearest value below the original selection is used, again if there are more than one, the horse with the lowest racecard number.
- If there are no horses of equal or lower value, the nearest horse of higher value will be used as a replacement, and again, racecard number will decide if more than one.
Abandoned/Void Races Before First Race
If a race is abandoned or void before the first race takes place, then the user budget will be proportionately reduced to reflect the lesser number of races.
If this leaves you with remaining budget, it will be added to your balance.
If an abandoned/void leg puts your stable in a minus budget, but you have already submitted, it will still be valid. However, if you want to make changes, you would need to edit your stable to put it back within the budget before confirming your changes.
Abandoned/Void Races After First Race
If a race is abandoned or voided after points scoring starts then all selections will score zero.
If more than half of the races in the game are abandoned or void, the whole game is voided.

Terms and Conditions of the Stable Stars - Horse Racing Fantasy Game (the “Game”).
The Game is operated by GDC Media Limited, which is a subsidiary of Gambling.com Group Limited (Nasdaq: GAMB) ("we," "us," or "our").
These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) are to be read together with our Privacy and Cookies Policy and our website Terms and Conditions and all other rules or polices that are made available on Gambling.com and on our various websites and platforms will govern our relationship and the operation of the Game.
Please read the Terms carefully prior to participating in the Game. By participating in the Game, you (“you” and “User”) thereby agree to the Terms. If you do not agree to the Terms, you may not participate in the Game.
We reserve the sole and absolute right, at our discretion, to change, modify, suspend, or terminate any aspect of the Game at any time and without prior notice. This includes, but is not limited to, changes to the rules, gameplay mechanics, eligibility criteria, duration, or other features or functionalities.
Such modifications may be implemented for any reason, including operational, technical, legal, or commercial considerations, and may take effect immediately upon publication or communication through our chosen channels. Users acknowledge and accept that their continued participation in the Game constitutes their acceptance of any such changes.
1. Eligibility
The Game is open only to individuals who are resident in the United Kingdom or Ireland and who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of participation.
Participation is limited to one account per person. Any attempt to create multiple accounts, whether by using different email addresses, identities, devices, or any other means, may result in disqualification and/or suspension of all related accounts.
We reserve the right, at any time, to verify a User’s eligibility (including age and residency) and to disqualify any User who does not meet the eligibility requirements or who breaches these Terms.
All eligibility decisions made by us are final and binding.
Employees, contractors, agents of the operator, and any persons professionally connected with the Game may be excluded from participation at our discretion.
2. Entry Rules
To participate in the Game, Users must register and log in using a valid account.
Users are required to:
- select one (1) horse per eligible race to be added to your “stable”;
- remain within the virtual 100 million monetary budget allocated for the Game;
- each horse will score points based on finishing position;
- designate one horse as a “Stable Star,” which will score double points;
- choose a stable name; and
- provide accurate and up-to-date contact details.
No purchase, payment, wagering, or deposit is required to enter or play the Game.

Points scored by the designated Stable Star horse will be doubled.
Scoring is based on race results obtained from third-party data providers. While we endeavour to ensure accuracy, we do not guarantee that scoring data will be error-free.
4. Deadlines
All selections must be submitted before the start of the first race included in the relevant Game. Late entries will not be accepted. Users may edit their stables up until the scheduled start time of the first race, after which no further changes will be permitted.
5. Leaderboards and Rankings
Leaderboards will be updated following the conclusion of each race or race day.
The 3 top-ranked Users at the end of the applicable Game period will be eligible for prizes.
In the event of a tie, the stable that has earned the most points from its selected Stable Star will prevail.
If a tie remains, the number of race wins will be relevant criteria applied, followed by second-place finishes, and so on.
Check regularly to track your progress.
6. Prizes
Daily Game Prize Values should be as follows:
- 1st Place: £/€100
- 2nd Place: £/€50
- 3rd Place: £/€25
Where prize values or structures may differ for a particular Game, the applicable prizes will be clearly displayed prior to entry into that Game.
Prizes are non-transferable, will be awarded via electronic vouchers, and no cash alternative is available unless expressly stated.
We reserve the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value where necessary.
Winners will be contacted using the contact details provided at registration, typically within 48 hours and no later than five (5) working days following the conclusion of the Game.
Prize fulfilment is subject to the winner’s cooperation, including the provision of verification information where reasonably required.
7. Marketing and Communications
By registering for and participating in the Game, Users consent to receiving marketing and promotional communications from us, in accordance with our Privacy and Cookies Policy and applicable data protection laws.
Marketing consent is a condition of participation and prize acceptance. Where a User withdraws such consent prior to prize fulfilment, the User may no longer be eligible to receive the prize.
Marketing communications may be sent via email, SMS, or other electronic means using the contact details provided by the User. Users may withdraw their consent at any time, and such withdrawal will not affect the lawfulness of any communications sent prior to withdrawal.
8. Fair Play and Acceptable Use
Users must participate fairly and use only their own account.
Any attempt to:
- manipulate the Game,
- collude with other Users,
- exploit errors or vulnerabilities,
- use automated systems, scripts, or bots, or
- otherwise gain an unfair advantage,
may result in immediate disqualification and/or account suspension.
We reserve the right to investigate any suspected breach of these Terms and to take appropriate action at our sole discretion.
Any disputes or questions related to the Game can be directed to competitions@gdcgroup.com and will be answered within five (5) working days.
9. Game Availability and Changes
Race schedules, Game availability, and Game mechanics are subject to change.
If a race is postponed, abandoned, or cancelled, we may, at our discretion:
- reschedule the Game,
- amend scoring or selections, or
- void the affected Game.
We shall not be liable, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, for any loss, damage, cost, expense, or disappointment arising from or in connection with such changes, including where a Game is rescheduled, amended, suspended, or voided, provided that nothing in this clause shall exclude or limit any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
10. Data Protection and Privacy
Personal data provided by Users in connection with the Game will be processed in accordance with our Privacy and Cookies Policy, as referenced above.
For the purposes of operating the Game, usernames, stable names, and leaderboard positions may be publicly displayed on our websites and platforms.
Where required for verification, prize fulfilment, or compliance purposes, Users may be asked to provide additional information. Failure to provide such information within a reasonable timeframe may result in disqualification or forfeiture of prizes.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any loss, damage, cost, expense, or inconvenience arising from or in connection with:
• technical issues, system outages, interruptions, or connectivity problems;
• lost, delayed, incomplete, or corrupted entries or data; or
• errors, delays, or inaccuracies in third-party data, race results, or information sources.
Nothing in these Terms shall exclude or limit any liability which cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.
12. No Affiliation
The Game is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any horse owner, trainer, jockey, racecourse, or racing authority.
13. Responsible Play and Wellbeing
The Game is a free-to-play fantasy game, and it is intended solely and exclusively for entertainment purposes only. It is not a form of gambling, does not involve the wagering of real money, and does not require any payment, deposit, or financial consideration to participate, and its’ outcomes do not involve financial risk to the User.
While the Game does not constitute gambling, we encourage Users to participate responsibly and in moderation. Users are reminded to take breaks and to ensure that participation remains recreational in nature.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with the Game shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland.racecourses. The game requires no payment, deposit or wagering to play.
