York Tips: Horse Racing Predictions & Odds ITV Racing Wednesday

The York Dante Festival kicks off today, the first day of three days which promise to be great in the moment, as well as being incredibly insightful for the future.
This is perhaps my favourite flat meeting of the year, and racing at York never disappoints.
Exclusive to Free Bets I will be on hand all week, picking out my best bets and delivering daily York tips across the main races.
York Tips - Wednesday
My four tips below come with odds from betting sites so you can see how the markets are shaping up for the races, and they are all live as part of the ITV Racing coverage.
York 2:20pm - Stressfree (EW)
I was really taken by the seasonal reappearance of Stressfree up at Ripon, he ran very well to finish second, and there's no doubt he could have got a little closer with a better passage.
Whether he would have won that day is tough to say, but what I do know, is it will have put him spot on for this.
He remains on the same mark, surprisingly, which certainly makes him of interest here.
Go back to last summer, again off the same mark of 101, and he was fourth here in the Ebor Handicap, over further, but one of the hottest handicaps of the season, so to finish fourth in that is a real strong line of form.
He will hopefully just about be an each way price here, and to add further to that, some bookmakers are playing four places on the race.
- Recommendation: Stressfree (EW)
York 3:30pm - Aramram (EW)
The Richard Hannon trained Aramram has been on the go early, this is his third run of the season, while some rivals are making their seasonal debut.
Winner of an Ascot handicap to end last season, he's moved up in class this season, and not looked out of place.
On the opening day of the season he won a Listed contest at York, and backed that up with a second placed effort in a Newmarket Group Three at the Craven Meeting.
You can mark both runs up for me. The win at Doncaster, he would have won by further with a better passage, while he was drawn away from the other main runners at Newmarket.
It's another step up here, now in Group Two level, but he'll be fit, has run well but perhaps even better than results show recently, and can go well again here.
- Recommendation: Aramram (EW)
York 4:05pm - Legacy Link (NAP)
I'm not sure we'll see an Oaks winner come out of the Musidora this year, it looks a little below par for what I'd expect, but Legacy Link does appear to have a fantastic chance of winning.
Three runs last year, she won a nice novice at Haydock before running well to finish fourth in the Group One Fillies Mile at Newmarket to end her season.
She had Moments Of Joy behind her that day, who went into the race with more experience, and that runner has bene out this year already, and disappointed.
Back to Legacy Link and she does look the type to strengthen up over the winter and come here a better horse, but she might not need to be.
Both Felicitas and Sea The Storm have plenty of potential, and are likely to make up into nice horses, but this step at their current stage of career is likely to prove a little too much, they're definitely worth watching for the future.
It's fascinating because they're all good, but perhaps not great, and I keep coming back to Legacy Link. With potential to improve further, the best form in the book, and a trainer who knows how to handle classic fillies, she's got plenty going in her favour.
- Recommendation: Legacy Link (NAP)
York 4:40pm - Passing Thought (EW)
The Ed Walker trained Passing Thought picked up a win and second placed effort from her four starts last season.
She returned to action at Wetherby, and won on handicap debut, with a couple of her rivals here behind her that day, and I think she can confirm the form with those runners.
Slowly away, and still showing inexperience, she made a nice move at a telling time in the race, and kept running on very nicely to the line, in the style of a horse that could handle an increase in the weights.
Thanks to that win, she's got an extra 5lb here, the second behind her, Hasbro Market is also up 3lb, and I don't think the 2lb difference will change the outcome here.
This is of course much tougher, but she did it nicely at Wetherby, and looked like a horse that could continue to go well, despite more weight on her back.
- Recommendation: Passing Thought (EW)
