NFL Betting Tips - Week Three
We have got an AFC East matchup to look forward to for Thursday Night Football. The Miami Dolphins are travelling to the Buffalo Bills to try and get their first win of the season.
The Bills, on the other hand, are 2-0 and looking like one of the best teams in the league. Here we bring you a bet builder thatโs just over 11/2 with Paddy Power.
James Cook - 60+ yards (Alternate rushing yards market) & anytime touchdown scorer
James Cook has had a great start to the season, and another big game is expected from him. Over the two games the Bills have played so far, Cook has amassed 176 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns. He has also received 61 passing yards as well.
Cook only managed to rush for 44 yards against the Ravens but had 132 yards against the Jets last Sunday. The Ravens are a top run defence, and the Jets are not. Here Cook is going up against the Dolphins who have struggled to defend anything so far this season.
The Dolphins lost to the Patriots last Sunday and they gave up 54 yards to Rhamondre Stevenson over 11 rush attempts. You would expect Cook to have more attempts than that in this game and he is a better running back than Stevenson.
Cook has scored three rushing touchdowns in two games, with two of them coming against the Jets in week two. Not only are 60+ yards an achievable number of yards for Cook but a touchdown is on the cards. If he doesnโt hit both bets, then it would be surprising given how poor the Dolphins defence has been this season.
Keon Coleman - 3+ receptions (Alternative receptions market)
After week one it felt like Coleman was going to have a breakout this season. However, week two wasnโt great for him and it feels like we may have got overexcited.
Despite that he is still a great target for Josh Allen and given how poor the Dolphins have been this season he should see some targets. In week one he had eight receptions but in week two he only had three receptions.
To win this part of the bet all Coleman must do is get three receptions. Itโs clear to see that he can have games where he can do much better. Three receptions should come through against this poor defence.
Dalton Kincaid - 3+ receptions (Alternative receptions market)
Kincaid has hit this bet in both week one and week two this season. He has had four receptions in both games, and he should do it again in this one.
Given that Kincaid has had four receptions in two different types of game is also a positive sign. Against the Ravens it was a shootout, against the Jets it was a comfortable win. Either way he has hit what we want.
Kincaid also hit this mark in nine out of the 13 games that he played in last season. If he doesnโt get it in this game, then that would be disappointing.
