Fitzdares Welcome Offer, Free Bets, Bonuses & Promotions – Bet £50 Get £25 in Free Bets

The Fitzdares sign up offer comprises £25 in free bets when you wager £50. Previously, the welcome bonus used to be a £25 free bet deal when staking at least £50, but this seems rather steep compared to other revered operators such as BetMGM, where you can land £40 in free bets for wagering just £10.

Fitzdares New Customer Offer

Fitzdares Ltd customers can take advantage of £25 in free bets for placing a qualifying sports bet of £50, but how does the deal work? This sub-section thrashes out the finer details of the Fitzdares sign up offer, so you know what is expected of you.

Bonuses, Promotions & Promo Code

Aside from the welcome offer, Fitzdares offers straddle price boosts on singles and winning accas. For example, the 25% odds boosts on football and tennis bet builders can be applied where there are at least three legs on your slip, and you can place a maximum stake of £50, so that was enticing.

Fitzdares offers several promotions

Meanwhile, there is a specified football accca bonus, and if your five-fold comes through, a 30% boost is applied to winnings. These Fitzdares promotions aren't event-specific, and there is no Fitzdares bonus code needed to enter either.

Boosted prices and accas are exciting, as are free bet offers, so see what takes your fancy!

How Freebets.com Ranks & Rates Betting Sites

Freebets has its finger on the pulse with analysing sports betting sites. We put them through their paces and judge them on a wide variety of factors, such as the strength of a bookmaker welcome bonus, the quality of customer support provided, and the desktop user experience. Although not an exhaustive list, the principles are largely the same. Have a look here to see how we rate betting sites.

About Fitzdares

Fitzdares lays claim to being the oldest-established bookmaker in the UK, with its roots dating back to 1882. Founded by Balthazar Fabricius, Fitzdares, which is connected to society's well-heeled, set up as a telephone betting company in 2005.

It launched its website and mobile app in 2018, and it strives to offer a premium and personalised betting experience for its members.

Fitzdares Review

Framed as a high-end bookmaker, Fitzdares was established as a telephone betting company in 2005, and it became the first operator to introduce text betting. Other betting sites such as BetGoodwin followed suit, but Fitzdares wanted to add a more human touch to what the founders deemed an impersonal industry.

Fitzdares' core values of delivering a premium service remain unchanged, and it is intent on catering to everyone's betting needs. Aside from offering comprehensive horse racing coverage, Fitzdares counts former England fast bowler Stuart Broad as their ambassador.

If that wasn't enough, the Fitzdares club is an exclusive private members' club, offering sport and live entertainment, and it makes a bit more sophisticated compared to run-of-the-mill bookies. Let's untangle the offering of one of the UK's best betting sites.

User Experience

Sleek and streamlined, Fitzdares has moved well with the times, and from an appearance perspective, it draws some parallels with LiveScoreBet. It is distinctive design-wise with its orange and black palette, but the organisation of the site is impressive. Everything was available at the click of a button, and the sign-up process was seamless with no hold-ups, but more to follow on that later.

With over 30 sports to choose from, I was spoilt for choice. Fitzdares has also leaned heavily into virtual sports, overtaking some of its rivals. Yes, I could locate lines for virtual cricket and virtual greyhound, and there were plenty of markets to tuck into.

I like the way favourites were incorporated, and everything was at my fingertips. After carrying out several functionality and speed tests, there was nothing alarming in terms of lagging issues. Fitzdares' customers will be pleased with what they find, and it was very user-friendly.

My only major complaint was the way the Fitzdares welcome offer was advertised. Rather than being plastered at the top of the homepage, the welcome offer was contained in a slow-moving promotional carousel. I could see it when registering a Fitzdares account, but this could have been signposted better.

App Review & Mobile Site Experience

The Fitzdares mobile app caught my attention, and there were no annoying pop-up ads. The app and mobile site reflected each other well with no major differences, and both were extremely quick in terms of loading content.

Fitzdares received an average of 3.3 stars out of 5 on Trustpilot, while it averaged 3.7 stars out of 5 on iOS, albeit with the latter, it had picked up significantly fewer reviews. One of the main grievances voiced by Fitzdares customers was the lack of ongoing offers, and that ought to be looked into.

Nevertheless, the Fitzdares app sparkles, and it was great for using on the go. I found it intutive and a go-to option for betting.

On that note, I loved the Cross Sport doubles for horse racing and football, and odds were lengthened from 9/4 to 11/4, often exceeding Paddy Power's power prices.

Meanwhile, Fitzdares loves a special or two. Ladbrokes and William Hill have a proven track record in this field, but judging by Fitzdares' Oscar lines, they were more wide-ranging. Betting apps like Fitzdares support the desktop product well.

Live & In-Play Betting

Highly immersive, the Fitzdares live betting product is worth talking about. I would put it on a par with LiveScoreBet for the amount of data supplied, and that just doesn't include match stats. With darts, for example, you can see legs being thrown in real-time which piqued my interest, and with football, there were Football Manager-style graphics to outline key flashpoints.

There weren't tons of football in-play betting markets available, revolving around the match result and handicap, so this was slightly disappointing. Cricket, on the other hand posted more team props, such as method of dismissal and more, so this was eminently more appealing.

Often, commentary was provided in the form of play-by-play, so you can keep abreast of things. Meanwhile, being able to cash out was stress-free as you could cash out stakes in their entirety or partially. There aren't any obvious flaws here.

Live Streaming / Other Features

Although Fitzdares does live streaming, it is restricted to horse racing. Given bet365 has live streaming available across multiple sports, this is something Fitzdares should address. Nevertheless, the Fitzdares stream was crisp, and this was the case when I watched a Lingfield race (pictured).

Audio commentary was provided, and as long as you have a fully fledged Fitzdares account, you can watch any race you wish. Oh, and I could expand the stream to full-screen, which was great.

Football Betting Review

The football betting product was lively, and there were over 1,000 markets posted daily across the biggest leagues. Okay, I would have liked more variety in-play, but the pre-match football odds were competitive, and there was plenty here to sink my teeth into.

There were ample bet boosts dotted about, and there were a few specials plugged that were quite mouthwatering, such as a team to score five or more goals across a night of midweek Premier League games.

I could assemble my own bet builder, but fewer lines could be incorporated compared to BetMGM in terms of match events, such as bookings or shots on targets. Moreover, there were no suggested bet builders found at bet365 and LeoVegas that can serve as inspiration.

The best bit about the football product is the specific promotions for acca boosts and singles, and with the latter, you could get a 10% boost up to a maximum stake of £25 across any game, and that is nothing to turn your nose up at! Fitzdares has the right idea, but it could still make adjustments.

Horse Racing Betting Review

Fitzdares is renowned for horse racing, and the horse racing odds posted were above average. Yes, there is Best Odds Guaranteed (BOG) offered, but weirdly, this was only available to selected accounts, so I had to speak to the customer support team to find out more. At other sites, BOG applies daily, and it's worthwhile as you can get paid out at a bigger price if the Starting Price (SP) is longer than the original odds offered.

Expect extra places across selected races, such as five instead of four across UK races. However, while there were horse racing boosts, I would have liked to have seen non-runner deals or a return if my horse came second to the SP favourite, which you'll find at Paddy Power, and these can be quite enriching.

The stream is superb at Fitzdares, and the only other thing that would have made me happy is to have a few more exotic lines available rather than just forecast or tricast, so a couple of areas for improvement.

Cricket Betting Review

Here we ask one of our on-site experts to specifically look at a sport they love, and see what insight they can give to us.

For Fitzdares, Will Jackson has taken a look at their cricket coverage.

Fitzdares clearly brands itself as a high-brow betting site, so it was probably no great surprise to see Stuart Broad appear as the face of the brand!

It is not a site I have had much to do with in the past, but as a cricket fan and follower, having Broad on as an ambassador gives it an immediate appeal to me - especially in the middle of the Ashes series Down Under.

For me, that automatically gives the brand credibility regardless of what I’m looking to bet on, but even more so if I’m there to look at cricket markets.

And the cricket offering doesn’t disappoint.

On the eve of the second Test in Brisbane of the 2025/26 Ashes series, there’s a good list of Ashes specials on the cricket landing page.

The Ashes is clearly the biggest event going on at this moment in cricket, so I really like that I haven’t had to look too far to find these specials, and the actual pre-packaged bets look pretty good.

There’s the usual option of in-play betting or upcoming matches, and compared to a lot of rival betting sites, there is a lot to choose from and they don’t just focus on one or two key competitions.

I’ve got the choice of pretty much any domestic match going on right now, and that is not to be taken for granted - and the in-play markets are pretty wide-ranging too, which again is something rivals don’t do, and the graphics on the page are both informative and easy to read.

I’m impressed with what I see here, and it’s definitely been bookmarked for future use.

Fitzdares Customer Service

Fitzdares is certainly versatile when it comes to offering support. Bettors can get in touch by calling, texting, emailing, or using the live chat service, far surpassing its rivals. I'm sometimes more traditional and prefer to call or email, and this worked well here.

On the live chat side of things, the facility wasn't available to use 24/7. Moreover, Fitzdares claimed to respond to customers within two minutes but I had to wait more than 15 minutes before a member of the support team got back in touch. Nevertheless, they were professional and helped me with my query which related to Fitzdares offers. Multilingual support is available for the UK and Ireland markets which is worth noting.

Unfortunately, there were no social media links posted on the Fitzdares homepage, and it is trying to grow on X. Meanwhile, I was a bit annoyed by the FAQs centre. The help centre area seemed a bit thin for topics covered, and the answers were quite brief too, which is why I reached out via phone or email.
