Midnite Pros & Cons
- Unique esports focus
- Innovative CashMode betting
- Fast payouts & mobile-friendly
- No live streaming
- Limited traditional sports markets compared to rivals
The Midnite sign-up offer is one of the standout features as this new UK sportsbook, launched in 2022, looks to make its mark in a crowded market.
With so much competition, fresh betting sites need to bring something different, and I was curious to see how Midnite approaches this challenge.
In this review, I’ll cover all the essentials - how fast withdrawals are, whether the odds represent good value, how smoothly the mobile app performs, and whether Midnite has what it takes to compete with the best betting sites.
Overview
Midnite entered the sports betting scene in 2019, backed by investors with experience in both traditional betting and the world of eSports.
While the brand itself is relatively new, the team behind it brings solid industry knowledge and expertise.
The platform puts eSports front and centre, but it’s neatly separated from the traditional sportsbook, meaning if eSports isn’t your thing, you can stick to regular sports betting without any crossover.
My very first impression of the site, from the moment I landed, was that I was in for a visually impressive ride, and I certainly felt that throughout.
I love how this site feels. A disclaimer here, I’m a massive fan of dark mode, and this site is essentially in dark mode all the time, a quiet, dark background with small amounts of colour to make the site appealing on the eye. If you like dark mode, I think you’ll find this to be a real winner. For another brand with a bold design and unconventional feel, check out our Kwiff review.
Sign-Up Process
I’ve condensed the sign up process into three easy to follow steps, for all users to create an account with Midnite.
How to Claim the Midnite Welcome Bonus
When you claim any welcome bonus on the market, it will be subject to various restrictions and rules that you need to understand and follow.
The Midnite welcome bonus is no different, I think at a first look it’s quite a complicated bonus but when you write down what you do and what you receive, it does become easier to understand.
Here’s the three steps you need to follow in order to claim the bonus, and below, I detail the specifics of what you receive.
As you can see, you need to place a £10 bet to claim the welcome bonus. This has specific requirements attached to it, you have to place a £10 pre-match accumulator, covering four or more selections and the total bet odds must be 3/1 (4.00) or greater.
Now onto what you receive, which is £20 in free bets and 50 free spins, but this is essentially four x £5 bet vouchers for a specific bet plus £5 in casino spins, limited to one particular game.
· 1 x £5 Single Free Bet - minimum odds Evens (2.0)
· 1 x £5 Pre-Match Accumulator Free Bet - minimum odds 4/1 (5.0) and 4+ selections
· 1 x £5 In-Play Free Bet - no minimum odds requirements
· 1 x £5 Bet Builder Free Bet - minimum odds 3/1 (4.0)
· 50 Free Spins to use on Eye Of Horus - Rise Of Egypt (valued at 10p per spin)
As you can see, these offers come with specific bet types or minimum odds requirements - or sometimes both. The casino free spins are limited to a single game, and all rewards mentioned above expire within seven days of being credited.
I’m not here to criticise Midnite, as many betting brands are now similarly structuring their welcome bonuses.
However, the key responsibility lies with the player.
Before claiming, ensure you fully understand what’s involved - what you need to do, the terms and conditions, and precisely what you’ll receive.
This will help you avoid any confusion or disappointment during the bonus process.

Midnite: My Opinion
From the minute I dropped on the Midnite site on my computer, I felt really at home with the experience, and enjoyed what I saw. I think visually, this site is right up there with the best on the market.
I’ll mention again, I am a big fan of dark mode and dark sites, so this appeals to me, but there’s no doubting they’ve done a great job here.
As for the service itself, the sportsbook could do with being a little bigger, and it would be great to see two or three more promotions from them, but these are points that will only affect a small number of people, especially the first.
Their odds hold up well and are often a match for bigger names in the market, which is good to see, even though it means you won’t get anything stand out here.
Deposits and withdrawals are made easy, with simple methods available, and a big win in my eyes is the fact that all payment methods have just a £5 minimum on them, perfect for smaller players.
Rounding off, I will finish with something else I see as a big highlight and that is the mobile app on offer. This is great, I think it’s simple and easy to use, and best of all, everything appears very quickly, wasting no time.
I’m a regular user of mobile betting apps, and have tried many in the past. This is as good as anything I’ve used and I think it’s set up so that even complete beginners will be able to quickly fly around it and find what they need.
Betting Markets & Odds
The Midnite sportsbook is relatively small in comparison to many on the market, but for 95% of punters, that won’t be a problem.
At the time of checking, they had a total of 25 sports listed on the website, but only 16 of these had active betting markets available.
Firstly, I like the layout, where inactive sports are at the bottom of the menu and greyed out, so you know there’s nothing available.
Secondly, this is small, yes, but for most, it’s just football, horse racing and some big events thrown in as they come, which this site covers.
To illustrate this, this review was written during the Darts World Championships, which featured individual matches, outright betting, and even price boosts.
Most people won’t be interested in darts until this event, but when you need it, it’s there on Midnite.
Within each sport, you will find a range of markets on offer, listing daily events and games first, with tabs to navigate into either in-play or outright markets as needed.
At the top of the game, if it’s a big event, then you will see a list of Midnite price boosts on offer. The brand itself handles some of these tasks - others are outsourced and listed on the site.
For example, we have worked with Midnite to create our own bet, which they have then boosted the odds on for us.
As I’ve already touched on odds briefly, let’s take a closer look at how Midnite compares to other bookmakers in the market.
From my research, Midnite’s odds generally align with the majority of major UK bookmakers. They don’t typically offer standout value, but they also don’t fall short — they tend to follow the industry standard.
This means you’re unlikely to get significantly better or worse odds than elsewhere.
For example, Chelsea were priced at 4/7 to win an upcoming Premier League game. I compared odds from 15 top UK betting sites, and 12 had the same price, with just three offering a marginally different line.
Similarly, Newcastle were listed at 9/2 as underdogs, and that price was matched by 10 of the 15 bookmakers I checked.
Overall, Midnite offers consistent, reliable pricing in line with the bigger names — a solid choice for everyday punters.
Promotions
Promotions on the Midnite website are a little limited, and hopefully this is something that they can improve and grow over time. But for now, they have one interesting promotion, and if you are a regular, then this has the ability to give you some nice rewards.
Weekly Rewards - Sports
I recently tried out Midnite's Weekly Rewards program and was genuinely impressed with how easy it was to pick up free bets.
After opting in on the Rewards page, I chose from three clubs - the Bet Club gave me a £5 Free Bet after placing five £5 singles at Evens (2.0) or above.
The Acca Club rewarded a £10 Free Bet for two £10 accumulators (4+ legs, 4/1+ odds).
Finally, the Bet Builder Club offered a £5 Free Bet Builder for placing one £10 Bet Builder at odds of 3/1 (4.0) or greater.
Each promo runs Monday to Sunday, with rewards credited quickly after qualifying bets settle. Just remember—bets only count toward one club at a time, and free bets expire after seven days.
Daily Scratch Card
This promotion is available to both new and existing customers who have made at least one deposit and whose accounts haven’t been restricted or closed by the operator.
Each day, you can log in to reveal a reward via a daily scratch card - scratch and match three symbols to uncover your prize.
After six consecutive days of play, you’ll unlock the Mega Scratch Card, offering even bigger prizes. The promotion resets daily at midnight.
Daily rewards may include free spins, virtual free bets, or standard free bets, with top prizes like a £3 free acca bet or up to 30 free spins.
The Mega Scratch Card features upgraded rewards, including a £100 free bet, 100 free spins, £15 in bet credit, or a £10 bet builder voucher.
It’s a fun, consistent promotion from Midnite with daily value.
Note, free bets expire after two days, spins after one, and horse racing is excluded from voucher and credit use.
Horse Racing Boosts
Midnite offers daily Horse Racing Boosts, giving you access to enhanced odds on selected runners across UK and Irish racing for extra value.
No opt-in is required - just look for the boosted prices on eligible pre-race win or each-way bets and add them to your bet-slip.
Mobile App
Now that Midnite have settled in the UK market, they have betting apps for both iOS and Android devices, which are both accessible from the app store on your phone.
When you have downloaded the app, log into your account and you are able to place bets on the go.
I am a regular app user, as even if I am sat with a computer available, I find it quicker and easier to bet on my phone, and this app feeds into that narrative. I find betting easy with Midnite on their app, the menu system is almost identical on app and desktop, so you’ve only got to learn one site.
Navigation is simple, I think the pages load incredibly quick, even when you are looking at something such as a big list of games, or in play betting, where there’s a lot happening, and a lot of real time info that needs downloading onto the page.
If you are building an acca then you add the first selection to your bet slip and then when you add a second, third and more, these are all automatically added to the bet slip for you, allowing you to add in a stake and bet type, before placing it.
Again, the dark themed look here is a big winner for me, I think it’s a great look for the brand, adding to the experience.
Speed, familiarity to the desktop site, ease of finding selections and ease of building bets are all here, I like this app a lot.
Customer Support
Midnite offers two standard customer support options: a live chat feature on their website and an email contact form.
In addition, they engage with users through a Discord server and an active X/Twitter account, offering extra support channels that align well with their eSports-focused audience.
The inclusion of Discord is a smart move, given the platform's popularity among gamers and eSports fans. Live chat is likely the most frequently used support method, as it's familiar and widely adopted across the industry.
However, one drawback is that Midnite's live chat isn't available 24/7. There's no clear indication of its operating hours - only a message stating it's unavailable outside of service times and suggesting users email instead, which could be frustrating for those seeking help during off-hours.
Deposits
There are a total of four payment methods open for players to use on Midnite, and these can be used for both deposits and withdrawals on the site.
Looking at deposits first, and kicking off, I like the options they have, as they cover the commonly used methods for most people.
The methods available are debit card payments, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Trustly. All six have no fees attached to them, and all have a minimum deposit amount of just £5, so they are accessible for all, which is great to see.
Payment Method | Minimum Deposit | Maximum Deposit | Time |
Visa | £5 | £5,000 | Instant |
Mastercard | £5 | £5,000 | Instant |
Google Pay | £5 | £5,000 | Instant |
Apple Pay | £5 | £5,000 | Instant |
PayPal | £5 | £5,000 | Instant |
Trustly | £5 | £5,000 | Instant |
Withdrawals
When it comes to withdrawing your funds, the same four options are available for players and where possible, you will withdraw back onto the same method as you used to deposit.
If for some reason this is not available to do, then Midnite can send a wire transfer to your bank account, to get the funds back that way.
They aim to process all withdrawals within a 48 hour window, although do clearly state that this is not always possible on their site, so you may experience waiting a little longer.
In this case, they say that withdrawals will take a maximum of five business days to process, something to be aware of.
Payment Method | Minimum Withdrawal | Maximum Withdrawal | Time |
Visa | £5 | £5,000 | 2-5 Working Days |
Mastercard | £5 | £5,000 | 2-5 Working Days |
Google Pay | £5 | £5,000 | Up to 48 hours |
Apple Pay | £5 | £5,000 | Up to 48 hours |
PayPal | £5 | £5,000 | Up to 48 hours |
Trustly | £5 | £5,000 | 1-5 Working Days |
Conclusion
There’s plenty to like about what Midnite have on offer, including their simple and easy deposits and withdrawals, a nice daily promotion to give freebies out, and some competitive odds, which match the big operators on many occasions.
I also like the app, a lot, I think it’s nice and simple to use, and on top of that, I think they’ve done a great job with the design, it looks great.
The sportsbook could be bigger, but for most players, that won’t have any impact on their enjoyment here, it’s only if you are looking for something niche and different you may struggle.
So, overall, the site is a big win with me.
