Matchbook Offers & Promotions

- Commission free on Horse Racing – Horse racing is subject to a 0% commission promotion period at the time of writing which, when taking into account with betting exchanges generally having more attractive odds than standard bookmakers, can make for a fantastic offer!
- Matchbook 100% Match Bonus Casino Welcome Offer up to £100 + 100 free spins no wagering required – New customers playing on the Matchbook Casino will receive a 100% match bonus subject to meeting their wagering requirements.

Matchbook Odds and Markets
The odds available at Matchbook can be considerably higher than those available from regular fixed-odds bookmakers because the layers are regular punters who are free to offer any odds they like. For the service they provide, Matchbook take 1% commission of the winnings from the winner of every bet placed, which is much lower than at some other sports betting exchanges.
Currently Matchbook cater for the following sports with pre-event and in-play betting; Aussie rules, baseball, basketball, boxing, cricket, golf, horse racing, ice hockey, motor racing, poker, rugby, soccer and tennis. Matchbook plan to add more markets in the future, but are committed to focusing on liquidity, one market and sport at a time.

Matchbook – Our Rating: 4 stars
Matchbook’s low standard commission rate of just 1% (this does vary) is very attractive, particularly when compared to Betfair (its main competitor in terms of betting exchanges who charge a hefty 5% commission, albeit Matchbook’s rate also applies to losing stakes, whereas Betfair’s only applies to winning stakes). There’s also a decent Matchbook sign up bonus for new customers and various other Matchbook offers, with their new horse racing section being particularly well served at present.
The peer-to-peer factor of a betting exchange does mean that liquidity can be an issue on some events and markets, which also explains why there is currently only a relatively limited number of sports available to bet on. Hopefully Matchbook’s low commission can attract sufficient custom to address these issues.
It’s a tough ask to challenge the dominance of Betfair when it comes to doing business on the betting exchanges, but Matchbook are making a decent fist of it. Their low rates of commission and strong liquidity on US sports ensure that they get a high rating from us.
