Next West Brom Manager Odds: James Morrison Early Favourite

Interim manager James Morrison is favourite to succeed Eric Ramsay as the next permanent manager at West Brom, according to the early betting markets.
Ramsay was sacked on Wednesday morning after drawing at home to Charlton on Tuesday night, which left the Baggies just one point above the relegation zone and three points adrift of Blackburn in 20th.
It is the second time this season Morrison has taken temporary charge at the Hawthorns, but he is yet to take on a manager's role full-time since retiring as a player.

Next West Brom Manager: The Contenders
The Baggies have already got rid of two managers this season in Ryan Mason and Eric Ramsay, and they find themselves deep in a relegation battle, which they would not have anticipated at the start of the season.
Morrison has taken temporary charge, but who will be the next full-time appointment?
Let's take a closer look at the candidates.
James Morrison
Having taken charge after Tony Mowbray was sacked in April last year, and then again when Ryan Mason was sacked in January, it is now the third time at the helm for Morrison.
He is a favourite at the Hawthorns having played there for 12 seasons up until his retirement - the majority of that time spent in the Premier League - before retiring and immediately taking up a coaching role.
In his limited experience to date, he has played three matches, won one and drawn two, so at least he has the tag of being unbeaten to date.
He would be a safe pair of hands until the summer in terms of popularity within the club, but does he have the experience to see off a relegation battle?
Russell Martin
Martin is bound to find his name linked to a lot of Championship roles over the next few months, following his experience with Southampton and getting them promoted.
He probably would have envisaged himself in a slightly more glamorous role by now, having moved to Rangers at the start of the season only to struggle badly, and see his brand torn to shreds.
You suspect he needs to repair his reputation, and a move to a club like West Brom could be a savvy move for Martin - but is he the right man for a relegation fight?
Given the style of football he likes to try and implement, I'm not sure he would have time on the training ground to make it work.
Slaven Bilic
The early stages of football betting markets when a manager is sacked always sees the same type of names linked to the role - former players, current coaches within the club or recently sacked managers.
Bilic is a former manager at West Brom and he is out of work, so he ticks a couple of boxes and wouldn't be the most far-fetched appointment at this stage of the season.
His charisma has a habit of drawing out an immediate reaction from players and that could be perfect for this situation at West Brom with a serious injection of optimism required.
As so often happens though, these jobs end up being filled by someone not in the early rounds of the betting odds.
Sean Dyche
If Dyche doesn't end up managing West Brom one day, it could be one of those pub quiz questions where you're sure there is a mistake.
With Tony Pulis and Sam Allardyce both managing West Brom in the past, it feels like a right of passage that Dyche follows suit - but is now the right time for him?
No doubt the Baggies would snap your hand off for him, but only recently sacked at Nottingham Forest despite doing a relatively decent job there, it feels a bit soon for Dyche, who no doubt sees himself as belonging at the top level.
He would also have had quite a nice pay-off from Forest, so the chances of him taking another job so soon don't seem particularly realistic.
