Strictly Come Dancing Odds: Leading Contenders
Still not sure who's who? Want to know more about those who are leading the Strictly Come Dancing odds? Here's a quick rundown of the leading contenders.
George Clarke
George has been installed as the early favourite for the Glitterball Trophy, despite scoring a midtable 24 in his first week with partner Alexis Warr.
A social media influencer and podcaster, George already has an army of fans with millions of online followers and he'll be banking on their support in doing something he has admitted is well outside his "usual realm".
Lewis Cope
With four sevens for an overall score of 28 - enough to get him second place - Emmerdale star Lewis is second favourite as this early stage of the competition.
He has been partnered with Katya Jones this year, with the experienced professional sure to get a move or two out of her partner having won the competition in Series 15 and finishing in the top 10 in each of the past six seasons.
Vicky Pattison
Vicky is basically reality royalty (if there is such a thing), having made her name on Geordie Shore before winning I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! and appearing on Celebrity Hunder, Celebrity Coach Trip, Celebrity Masterchef, Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins and many more TV shows.
Her previous success on reality TV suggests she will be popular with the viewers for her down-to-earth personality, but she has some work to do having scored just 23 in the opening week.
She has been paired with Kai Widdrington for the season, who finished third with AJ Odudu in 2021.
Karen Carney
A former Lioness with 144 international caps for England, Karen will be no stranger to viewers having established herself as one of the more prominent football pundits in recent years.
She was known for her twinkle-toes on the football pitch as a jinking winger, and the signs are that she will be able to translate that to the dancefloor having topped the scores in the opening week with a superb 31.
She will be hoping to capitalise on the popularity of the Lionesses after another successful summer for the team.
Amber Davies
Another reality TV regular, Amber won the third series of Love Island and has gone on to become a regular on our TV screens over the past eight years.
She was a late addition to the cast having been announced as a replacement for Dani Dyer, but she is expected to be one of the better contestants with a West End Musical history behind her in recent years.
La Voix
La Voix has appeared on Britain's Got Talent as well as RuPaul's Drag Race, rising to fame as a performer and singer - so could be another with a slight advantage over others with no previous stage experience.
He has been partnered with Aljaz Skorjanec - a favourite with Strictly viewers - and is expected to be a popular contestant this year.
