1:20pm - Supreme Novices' Hurdle

To behind the Willie Mullins day 1 runners, we have three horses running in the Supreme Novices' Hurdle.

Best of those according to the betting is Mighty Park, owned by JP McManus and ridden by Mark Walsh.

Stable Jockey Paul Townend is on Leader d'Allier while Harry Cobden has come in for the ride on outsider Too Bossy For Us.

2:00pm - Arkle Chase

The first big Willie Mullins hope for the opening day comes in the Arkle Chase where Kopek Des Bordes is looking to follow up his facile win in the Supreme 12 months ago, Paul Townend rides.

Mullins has a second runner from the seven, another with a big chance and that's the mare Kargese, who gets a valuable 7lb allowance and has Danny Mullins on board.

2:40pm - Juvenile Handicap Hurdle

Mullins puts three into the juvenile handicap hurdle, known as the Fred Winter, and none of them will be ridden by Paul Townend, who takes a rest here.

All three are outsiders in the market as it stands, Madness d'Elle is the shortest of them, and will be ridden by Danny Mullins.

3:20pm - Ultima Handicap Chase

Mullins does not have an entry in the Ultima Handicap Chase this season.

4:00pm - Champion Hurdle

Paul Townend has the ride on Lossiemouth, with the mare making a switch from the Mares' Hurdle to this, and she's instantly become favourite to win Tuesday's feature.

She's one of three runners from the yard, Poniros will be ridden by Danny Mullins, while Patrick Mullins will be on Anzadam.

4:40pm - Plate Handicap Chase

Just one horse goes to the Plate Handicap Chase, and that's O'Moore Park, who will be ridden by Sean O'Keeffe.

5:20pm - National Hunt Novices' Chase

Mullins has no runners in the final race on day 1.

Willie Mullins Day 1 Winners?

In total, there are 12 Willie Mullins day 1 runners declared to run, so it's a typically busy first day for the team from Closutton.

In terms of chances for a winner, Lossiemouth and Kopek Des Bordes are both likely to go off favourite to win their races, in the Arkle and Champion Hurdle.

Kargese, Mighty Park and Leader d'Allier look to be lively outsiders with chances in the first three races on the card.

It wouldn't be Cheltenham without some Willie Mullins hype, that's his full list of runners for day 1.
