Darts Tips: Premier League Sheffield Week 16 Predictions & Odds

The 2026 Premier League reaches the end of its league phase on Thursday, with Sheffield’s Utilita Arena hosting Night 16.
The darting roadshow rolls into the Steel City, where reigning champion Luke Humphries will look to sign off the regular season with back-to-back nightly victories.
Humphries finally claimed his first nightly win of the campaign in Birmingham last week, beating Gerwyn Price in the final to secure his place at Finals Night.
He will be joined at London’s O2 by world number one Luke Littler, 2021 Premier League champion Jonny Clayton and 2023 runner-up Price, as four of the sport’s leading names chase the title.
Darts Tips: Premier League Sheffield
Littler has already wrapped up top spot for a third successive season after a remarkable six nightly wins, while Clayton — a four-time nightly winner in 2026 — is guaranteed to finish second in the table.
Price and Humphries are the two names scrapping it out for third spot, and importantly, the right to avoid Littler in the playoff semi-finals.
Let’s take a look at three of the best darts tips for tonight's games.
Stephen Bunting to beat Jonny Clayton at 6/5 with bet365
It’s a dead rubber for both Bunting and Clayton opening up the show on Thursday, but we’re giving the slight edge to the “Bullet” who will be determined to prove his worth of inclusion in this year’s tournament with a late flourish.
Bunting has won only five of his 15 quarter-final matches across this campaign, bagging just 13 points across the regular season, but with a nothing-to-lose attitude in Sheffield he looks good at 6/5 against Clayton.
Clayton leads 3-1 in head-to-heads across this Premier League campaign, but with two quarter-final losses in his last three weeks might have run out of steam.
Gerwyn Price -1.5 handicap vs Gian van Veen at Evens with bet365
Gerwyn Price has something to play for in Sheffield as he attempts to finish third in the standings ahead of Luke Humphries.
This would see the Welshmen up against his compatriot Jonny Clayton in next week’s playoff semi-final, rather than the inevitable teenage force that is Luke Littler.
Price is playing more than well enough to blow away the challenge of Gian van Veen, who has struggled to get his footing throughout his maiden Premier League season.
Along with Josh Rock, van Veen is one of the only two players not to have won a night across this season in 15 attempts, and the Dutchman hasn’t reached a final since week 9.
We’re happy to give van Veen a head start here and expect Price to still hunt him down at Evens.
Luke Littler Over 4.5 180s vs Josh Rock at 12/5 with Paddy Power
Luke Littler has hit a whopping 116 maximums throughout this year’s campaign already.
Sure, that’s come over 32 matches, but his scoring power can’t be ignored amongst his consistency in victory.
In what will be a bit of a free hit for both, we’re expecting Josh Rock to have a few moments against Littler who will be tempted to showboat to some degree.
If this one goes 10 or more legs, then Over 4.5 maximums for the “Nuke” looks good.
