Darts Tips: World Championship Day 3 Predictions & Odds

The darting feast continues into the weekend as the 2026 PDC World Darts Championship invited a slew of characters up onto the oche.
And who better to see than the 2024 champion from inside the Alexandra Palace, Luke Humphries?
Darts Tips: World Championship Day 3
Humphries, the former world No. 1 and multiple ranking champion, starts his campaign against Ted Evetts on Saturday, attempting to wrestle the title back from his namesake and nemesis, Luke Littler.
We’ve also got another former world champion Gary Anderson in action against Adam Hunt.
Let’s take a look at some of the best betting tips for Day 3 of the 2026 PDC World Darts Championship.
Tip 1: Wessel Nijman 3-0 Karel Sedlacek at 12/5 with bet365
Wessel Nijman has had an exceptional season on the European Tour and Players Championship Tour, with a lot of eyes expected to be tuning in to watch the 25-year-old.
Despite these positive performances, the Dutchman is yet to enjoy a signature run at a televised major, but will fancy a go at the World Championship as he returns for the third year running.
Nijman takes on Czechia’s Karel Sedlacek — his fifth appearance at the Ally Pally.
Sedlacek has fallen at the first hurdle on three out of four occasions and we’re expecting another on Saturday against the talented Nijman.
Tip 2: Luke Humphries 2+ 100+ checkouts vs Ted Evetts at 5/4 with bet365
Luke Humphries doesn’t tend to mess around in the opening rounds of majors, and things should be any different on Saturday for “Cool Hand”.
Humphries has reached the quarter-finals or deeper in four of his last seven appearances in North London and will be eager to put right a fourth round elimination from last year.
Ted Evetts is making his fifth appearance here and sits down at No. 131 in the world rankings.
“Super Ted” is a former PDC Youth World Championship winner, but now 28 has failed to kick on on the main tour.
A relaxed and confident Humphries should be able to notch up a couple of ton+ finishes.
Tip 3: Gabriel Clemens 3-1 Alex Spellman at 9/4 with bet365
Gabriel Clemens is a former World Championship semi-finalist from back in 2023, and will have some fond memories of his time at the Ally Pally.
The big German hasn’t pulled up any trees since that successful season three years back, and down at No. 47 in the world is desperate for some prize money.
A season off the European Tour means game time in front of crowds has been limited for Clemens, but in Alex Spellman he’s been handed a fairly comfortable opening round clash.
Spellman returns for the second time after a 2024 debut and after competing in this season’s Grand Slam of Darts will have that important muscle memory to perform in front of the cameras.
Spellman can pinch a set, but nothing more.
