Darts Tips: World Championship Day 7 Wednesday Predictions & Odds

We’re racing through the opening round of the Worlds, and there are some familiar faces on show across Wednesday’s action.
Darts Tips: World Championship Day 7
Raymond van Barneveld and James Wade are two of the most recognised names in world darts, both taking to the oche in the evening session attempting to reignite some of the magic that has taken them to a combined 11 semi-finals inside the Ally Pally.
Stefan Bellmont and Ryusei Azemoto are the two men tasked with putting a stop to that — but do they stand a chance of a seismic upset?
Let’s take a look at three betting tips for Day 7 of the 2026 PDC World Darts Championship:.
Tip 1: Raymond van Barneveld 3-2 Stefan Bellmont at 7/2 with bet365
Since Raymond van Barneveld’s return to the PDC Tour in 2022, the big Dutchman has managed to avoid slipping on any round one banana skins at the World Championships.
He hasn’t advanced past the fourth round in that time, but he’s still got the muscle memory on the oche to advance through these early rounds.
Stefan Bellmont was dumped out by Jermaine Wattimena at this stage last season, but with an active year on the Players Championship Tour, he comes to the 2026 tournament in better shape.
Barney might have to dig deep to get through here with Bellmont proving his worth of inclusion in the tournament.
Tip 2: James Wade most 180s and most 100+ checkouts vs Ryusei Azemoto at 11/8 with bet365
James Wade makes his 22nd consecutive appearance at the World Championships, still in search of a maiden title.
He’s a four-time semi-finalist, but has been stuck in the mud the last three years, getting dumped out in the second round.
Wade is the No. 7 player in the world and is playing well enough to run deep at this year’s tournament.
This should start with a sweep of Japan’s Ryusei Azemoto who will struggle to land a glove on the “Machine” from the opening dart.
Tip 3: Martin Schindler 3-0 vs Stephen Burton at 2/1 with bet365
Martin Schindler has been in the winners circle this season bagging the Austrian Darts Open on the European Tour.
This victory has seen the German’s confidence grow on the tour, now up to No. 13 in the world and more than capable in going deep in the major tournaments.
His record is a little stop-start here in North London, but he finds himself in a nice little section of the draw — there’s a chance Schindler can win his quarter at the Ally Pally.
To do so, he’ll have to get past qualifier Stephen Burton who makes his third appearance at the World Championship having lost his two previous matches 3-0.
Expect the same this time around against a strong player in Schindler.
