Aston Villa vs Nottingham Forest Tips, Europa League Predictions & Odds

We have got another big match to look forward to with an all-English clash in the Europa League semi- finals. Aston Villa is hosting Nottingham Forest for a place in the Europa League final.
Aston Villa has got a 1-0 deficit to make up after the first leg last week and lost on Saturday after resting many starters. Nottingham Forest, however, had a great victory away to Chelsea despite resting most of their first team.
Aston Villa vs Nottingham Forest Tips
Here are our top three football betting tips and the best free bets ahead of Thursday evening's clash at Villa Park.
Tip 1: Aston Villa to win & both teams to score
Aston Villa has had a rough run of things over the last couple of weeks and are looking to put it right on Thursday night. Losses in the Premier League to Fulham and Tottenham could be seen as ok given they rested players for the Europa League tie last week.
However, a 1-0 loss away to Nottingham Forest wasn’t what they were looking for either. Despite this they are still a quality team who look set to qualify for the Champions League next season.
Now they must take on a Nottingham Forest side who have turned their form around over the last month. Three wins in their last three games have seen them steer away from the relegation zone in the league.
Also, two solid wins against Porto and Aston Villa, last week, have seen them become genuine contenders for the Europa League. They rested most of their first team against Chelsea on Monday and still beat them comfortably.
Expect goals in this contest, neither defence is fantastic and Villa need to score goals to get back in this tie. This could easily go beyond 90 minutes, but Villa should have enough to win in the end.
Tip 2: Elliot Anderson to be shown a card
Elliot Anderson has had a great season so far and is likely to be a big part of the England squad at this year world cup. One area that he could improve in though is his disciplinary record.
Anderson has committed 52 fouls in the 35 Premier League games he has been part of and seen seven yellow cards. He has also committed 18 fouls in the seven Europa League games he has played in with three yellow cards and one red card being shown as well.
Tip 3: Igor Jesus 1+ shot on target, Youri Tielemans to score or assist, Elliot Anderson to be shown a card
Igor Jesus is not afraid to have a shot and should get some opportunities in this game. The Brazilian forward has had 62 shots with 17 hitting the target in the Premier League and 34 shots with 16 hitting the target in the Europa League.
Youri Tielemans has had another solid season at Aston Villa and is always a threat going forward. He has had four assists in the Premier League and another three in the Europa League. He has only scored once this season but is always an attacking threat.
Elliot Anderson has seen ten yellows and one red this season in the Premier League and Europa League. Another one has a good chance of happening.
