Hull vs Millwall Championship Playoffs Predictions, Odds & Betting Tips

The Championship playoffs kick off tonight, and first up, an intriguing clash between Hull and Millwall. I put a lot of importance on mindset and form going into the playoffs, and I only think that makes this even more interesting.
My Hull vs Millwall tips below will probably show you that. I think Millwall are a very good team, the best out of these two, but that doesn't mean they'll be getting my backing in the first leg.
Read on for the full football tips breakdown, the latest odds and the best betting sites to back them with.
Hull vs Millwall Tips
You can't win the tie in the first leg, but you can certainly lose it. For that reason, I think things will be nervy here, but I do expect the game to open up eventually, especially as Hull will want something to take down to London for the second leg with them.
I like one of the teams to get a result here, and I have to say, I think they're incredibly overpriced for the win.
Tip 1: Hull to Win @ 43/20
I can't believe Hull are priced up at over 2/1 to win this game, I think they've been criminally underrated by the oddsmakers tonight.
When comparing the teams, I think Millwall are the better team. I also think if this game sees Millwall one goal down from the first leg, or in a better position, then I fancy them to qualify for Wembley.
But I can't leave Hull alone here. The playoffs are all about momentum, making the big moments count, and belief. Hull scrapped in on the final day of the season, thanks to their win and another couple of results going their way.
This was their only hope, and they feel great, because the dream of the playoffs has come true for them.
Millwall, it was different. A chance at automatic promotion, they won on the final day, but suffered the heartache of knowing it wasn't enough.
It's easy to say it's about dusting yourself down and going again, far easier than actually doing it. We'll see a far better Millwall in the second leg, when they've had a game to come to terms with last weekend, but I think they're vulnerable in the first leg.
I think last week's win will have done Hull the world of good.
Tip 2: Oli McBurnie to Score Anytime
Oli McBurnie has had a great season, and proven to be a very shrewd buy for Hull. He's also a player that thrives on a big occasion.
Look back at last week, Hull needed him and he came up with the goods, scoring two goals. A couple of weeks back, a key goal against Leicester, before that, one against his former club Sheffield United.
Time and time again, McBurnie doesn't just score, but he scored at important moments.
Playoff goals, combined with his brace last week, McBurnie might be part way through writing himself into Hull City folklore right in front of our eyes.
Tip 3: Hull to Win, Oli McBurnie Anytime Scorer & Under 2.5 Goals
The first two picks in this bet builder are listed above with their reasoning. To round things off, I'll also add in under 2.5 goals in the first leg.
As I've said, I think Millwall will need time, I'm not expecting much from them here. I also think the first part of the game will be tight and cagey, as neither will want to give anything away early.
I can see Hull nicking it, by the odd goal, so under 2.5 goals feeds into that.
