easyBet Review
Synonymous with budget airline carrier easyJet, Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou, the Greek-Cypriot billionaire, who owns easyBet and the easygroup, took a punt on gambling when easyBet launched in 2024.
The venture marked an exciting time for the easygroup, who are associated with 100 brands, and easyBet is the newest exchange site to hit the market. Unlike a traditional fixed odds bookie, peer-to-peer betting exchanges are smarter options for players seeking fairer odds. They can 'back' teams to win or 'lay' on the prospect of a loss, giving a different dimension to the sports betting experience.

It's best to frame easyBet as a modern version of Betfair, although, as you will discover, there are eminently fewer sports markets or betting options to pursue. easyBet has followed in the footsteps of other UK consumer-facing brands such as VirginBet and Sky, who have also gone down the betting route, and the easyBet operation has been powered by fellow betting exchange Matchbook, so expect a few similarities.
More importantly, easyBet is fully licensed by the UK Gambling Commission through Triplebet Limited, who have a proven track record of delivering ready-made betting solutions for players. As a legitimate site, easyBet adheres to the latest security protocols, including encrypting transactions. There are KYC procedures in place found at fellow new sites, such as All British and Pub, which check the source of funds before initiating deposits and withdrawals. Also, I noticed a funds protection area giving players peace of mind were easyBet ever to file for insolvency.
Interestingly, easyBet has pursued brand infringement disputes where companies have tried to incorporate the "easy" name, including easyBet.com and easyBet.co.za. While the "easy" name is a recognisable brand, it hasn't struck any business partnerships or picked up any awards, but that might come in due course. Nevertheless, easyBet's mantra is 'Bet Smart, Bet Easy', and it doesn't stray away from this.
Moreover, this bookie has a few tricks up its sleeve, including enhanced specials to explore. My easyBet review gives you the inside track on this sports betting site. I've run through the core features and promotions dished up, and suggest how they compare to other established UK betting sites, so let's get stuck in!
User Experience - My Personal View
A natural starting point for my easyBet review entails assessing the desktop UX. Resplendent in its striking and memorable orange livery, the easyBet site is streamlined and extremely user-friendly. Quick links to major leagues and a full A-Z roster of sports can be easily located, and it rates well compared to other newer sites such as talkSPORT Bet which has become a trusted brand for placing bets.
I cherish simplicity, and I could move seamlessly between my preferred areas of the site. If you aren't used to playing at a betting exchange, it takes time to get used to, but I like something a bit different.
Speed-wise, easyBet offers a smooth betting experience, and unlike other new sportsbooks, such as Casino Kings and Monster Sports, there weren't any dead links. easyBet had no lagging issues either, and I could start betting immediately after completing the quick sign-up process. There were just a few steps to follow to register, including entering the bonus code for the welcome offer, but it was stress- free.
There are a few customised features to the easyBet website, including enhanced specials, offering bigger prices on popular events like Ladbrokes and William Hill, as well as bet builders like BetGoodwin that has ready-made suggestions. More to follow on that.
That said, I was baffled not to see a favourites tool. I would liked to have seen price boosts plugged for events, such as the supercharged odds found at Kwiff, and more recently BetVictor, but easyBet does the basics well. easyBet, don't forget, only has a betting exchange, whereas Betfair also has a regular sports betting site.
Mobile Betting Experience
The easyBet mobile experience was just as fun as the desktop counterpart, and there wasn't much difference. Moreover, easyBet has an easy to install, fully functioning native mobile app, serving iOS and Android users, and you can use 2FA to log in and get started. A 2.9 rating out of 5 for the easyBet betting app admittedly didn't feel with me confidence, but one user moaned about not knowing how to place bets at a betting exchange, so I didn't read too much into that!
I loved the menu placement of the easyBet app, providing seamless navigation, and there were no buffering issues. easyBet clearly displays the odds, but one thing I was puzzled by was that prices on the desktop were advertised in GBP, unlike the easyBet app that flashed prices in Euros. As a UK resident, that was annoying, and I couldn't revert to GBP.
Cash Out is a prerequisite of any decent bookmaker and I could cash out across many events at easyBet on all devices which was great. However, I was a little disappointed by the live betting aspect. Apart from a scant range of sports markets, there wasn't a breakdown of stats in computerised format that LiveScoreBet and talkSPORT have become famed for.
The in-play platform needs addressing to making it more appealing, and I'm not just referring to betting options. I don't think it's much to ask, especially as punters have more exacting demands.
I would liked to have seen other features incorporated into the mobile app, such as Request A Bet. I've seen the success it has had at Coral, and punters want more variety and flexibility with the bets they can place, no matter how niche.
easybet Betting Markets & Odds
The sports roster at easyBet stands at 14 which is small compared to Betfair. Yes, American Football and Boxing betting are listed, but some markets were more limited in scope.
Take boxing for example. For a big upcoming fight between Daniel Dubois and Oleksandr Usyk, I could only pinpoint match odds to back or lay, but there weren't round-by-round bets or method of victory which was slightly disheartening.
Football, or soccer, as easyBet prefers to call it, is well represented. Players can place a single or multiple bets through the intuitive betting slip.
Yes, there are suggested bet builders, accounting for player shots on target and Over/Under goals, but I'm not a big fan of pre-made combos. I would have preferred a bit more freedom to assemble my own bet builder, so it's not quite what I expected.
The odds lined up nicely compared to other traditional sports betting sites, such as Betfred, and the margins were good for pre-match and in-play odds.
However, I noted a couple of frustrating things. Live streaming was only available for greyhound racing, but to be considered a big hitter like bet365 or Paddy Power, the easyBet website should extend coverage to other sports.
Horse racing, meanwhile, covers UK meets well, and a form guide was provided for each runner, but the range of markets were limited. Despite claiming to have the best price, Best Odds Guaranteed aren't available at easyBet or special horse racing bonuses such as extra places at Betfred for that matter, so there is room for improvement.
easyBet Betting Bonuses and Promotions
A bonus is the centrepiece of a site. Since my last visit to easyBet, the site has conjured up a few more promos. Previously, I only saw a welcome offer advertised, consisting of a smaller free bets deal.
However, aside from the welcome offer, I found other sports-focused deals such as a Bet Track Club for greyhound racing, which is a similar concept to Betway's Free Bets Club. Also, Money Back deals for golf run throughout the year, giving you plenty of opportunities to get involved.
easyBet Welcome Bonus Review โ Bet ยฃ20 Get ยฃ20 in Free Bets
The easyBet welcome bonus isn't a show-stopper, but it comprises ยฃ20 in free bets when making a minimum wager of ยฃ20. The breakdown of the free bets is great as you can use it on a variety of sports, including soccer and horse racing, and multiple bets are facilitated.
Although the free bets deal isn't as strong as Virgin Bet's offering (Bet ยฃ10 Get ยฃ20 in free bets), the minimum odds set are 2.00. Just remember the free bets expires within seven days. Unlike some sites, there weren't any payment methods excluded from claiming the welcome offer.
What is the easyBet Betting Promo Code?
The easyBet bonus code is EB20. Once you join and create an easyBet account, you can enter the promo code and the offer will be automatically credited.
easyBet Payment Details
easyBet offers a few deposit and withdrawal options. To make a withdrawal to your easyBet account, you will need to use the same method for initiating a deposit.

Customer Service at easyBet
easyBet offers fabulous customer service. The live chat service runs Monday to Friday 9am-2am, and I found it extremely helpful. Built with Zendesk, an award-winning bit of support software kit, I got an almost immediate response to a question, and I felt like I was in safe hands.
It's what I expect of a serious bookmaker, and while emails are slightly slower, there were social media links to X and Facebook, providing a further avenue for bettors to reach out.
Meanwhile, the FAQs area is extensive like at BetMGM or Betfred. Yes, these were split into multiple categories, so I could troubleshoot underlying issues with minimal fuss.
Responsible Gambling at easyBet
Those who join easyBet and place bets want to know they can bet in a safe environment. easyBet takes responsible gambling serious, using the following tools:
Deposit Limits
This comes in the form of gross limits, restricting the amount you can deposit within a 24-hour period, while net losses are focused on controlling losses over 30 days.
Self Exclusion
Should you wish to take a break from the easyBet site, you can do so for up to six months. Once you have self-excluded, you can't access your account or place any bets.
Gambling self-assessment
Among the other tools for problem gamblers includes taking a short quiz supplied by GamCare. Having this preventative measure in place pinpoints issues for problem gamblers, so they can get the help they need.
Licensing & Security Measures
easyBet offers a safe betting experience for all punters. As a UK Gambling Commission-verified site, easyBet adheres to the latest protocols, including having KYC procedures in place.
Meanwhile, easyBet offers a comprehensive list of Terms and Conditions and fair play procedures to ensure players aren't stranded when placing bets.
My Verdict
Overall, my easyBet review details its promise, and it is a slick betting exchange. It may not be stacked with features, but the enhanced specials rank well compared to traditional bookies.
There were a couple of shortcomings, most notably the limited number of lines per events for some sports, and the meagre welcome bonus they offer, but that might be rectified.
However, park these flaws to one side, and easyBet fulfils its remit. Bettors after a more sophisticated experience will benefit playing there.
