France and Spain meet in Dallas on Tuesday for a place in the World Cup final, and former England winger Chris Waddle spoke with the team at Free Bets on how exactly he sees it playing out.
Speaking exclusively to Joshua Kerr ahead of the huge semi-final between England vs Argentina, Waddle didn't hold back on Spain's form heading into the semi-final.
Here's how his prediction shapes up into tips, plus the best free bet offers ahead of tonight's clash in Dallas.
"France. Spain have been very slow, no tempo about their play. Nico Williams on the left hasn't performed this tournament. France are on a high. I'll go two-nil to France in 90 minutes."
France vs Spain Tips
Tip 1: France to win
Waddle's read is straightforward: France are "on a high" heading into the semi-final, while he feels Spain simply haven't had the tempo to trouble the best sides at this World Cup.
With Nico Williams singled out as one attacker who hasn't delivered, and France yet to concede more than once in any of their knockout matches, backing Les Bleus to get the job done looks the safe starting point.
Tip 2: France to win to nil
Waddle's exact prediction was a two-nil win for France in 90 minutes, which means backing Les Bleus to keep a clean sheet as well as win.
Given how disciplined France have been at the back throughout the knockout rounds, and with Spain lacking their usual attacking rhythm according to Waddle, a France win without Spain finding the net has real appeal.
Tip 3: Under 2.5 Goals, France to win 2-0, Kylian Mbappe to Score
France have so far lived up to their hype, and while Spain will be their toughest assignment to date, Didier Deschamps' men could win through to the Final.
Add to your bet builder for this to be a clean contest. Spain and France picked up just two yellow cards between them across their quarter-final ties, so Under 2.5 cards is leaping out here.
Round things off with Ousmane Dembélé, who has had a 31% conversion rate and scored five goals at this year's World Cup, to give Spain plenty to think about. Dembélé to register over 0.5 shots on target is worth pursuing.
