We have got a massive game on Wednesday night as England take on Argentina for a place in the World Cup final.
England didn't play well against Norway in the quarterfinals, but that was largely due to the heat in Miami. Argentina also had to go to extra time to beat a spirited Switzerland side, who just fell a bit short.
Here are our three football betting tips and the best free bet offers for this clash on Sunday morning:
England vs Argentina Tips
Here are our top three World Cup betting tips and the best free bets ahead of this game.
Tip 1: Draw and both teams to score
England have found themselves in the semi-finals, but it's not through playing well and more thanks to grit and determination.
After winning their group and then beating DR Congo in the last 32, a tough match at the Azteca against Mexico was next. Beating Mexico in tough weather conditions and being down to ten men was no mean feat, but the team looked tired when they beat Norway in the quarter-finals. Jude Bellingham has been the standout player for England, and he will need to be again here.
Now they must face an Argentina side who have also had worries during the tournament. An easy group campaign saw them get three wins, but then they were taken to extra time by Cape Verde.
They were 2-0 down with 20 minutes to go against Egypt in the last 16 but managed to come back. Then they were taken to extra time again, this time by Switzerland in the quarter-finals. Lionel Messi is still their star man, and stopping him feels almost impossible.
Expect a close match which will likely go beyond 90 minutes, but for both teams to get at least one goal.
Tip 2: Lionel Messi to score anytime
Despite being 39, Lionel Messi is still a world beater, and he hasn't had the opportunity to play England in his career yet. Getting Argentina to another World Cup final will be an impressive achievement for their main man.
So far, he has had 33 shots with 18 of them hitting the target and eight of them becoming goals. An over 50% conversion rate of shots to shots on target is impressive in a World Cup, and with England looking tired, he is likely to conjure up one more bit of magic.
Tip 3: Jude Bellingham 1+ shot on target, Elliot Anderson to be shown a card, Lionel Messi to score anytime
Jude Bellingham has been great for England at this World Cup. The Real Madrid midfielder has had 17 shots, with 11 of them hitting the target, and can get one more in this game.
Elliot Anderson has been another standout player for England this summer. He does tend to get involved in scraps though, and against this Argentinian midfield that won't be hard to do. He has seen 18 yellow cards in his last two seasons in the Premier League and has committed seven fouls already at this World Cup.
Finally, add Lionel Messi to score anytime. Messi has not played against England before despite his long career. He will want to tick them off the list and get Argentina back into the World Cup final.
