Hatton’s Grace Hurdle Betting 2023, Best Betting Offers, Odds & Tips

Can Impaire Et Passe continue his unbeaten career record?

The feature race of the Winter Festival at Fairyhouse Racecourse is the Grade 1 Hatton’s Grace Hurdle, run over a distance of 2 miles and 4 furlongs, and with a winners list over the years that compromises a who’s who of Ireland’s top hurdlers.

Dominated in recent years by the mares Apple’s Jade and Honeysuckle, the race has also been won by Danoli, Dorans Pride Istabraq, Hurricane Fly, and Limestone Lad.

Part of a high-quality meeting that also sees the Grade 1 Drinmore Novice Chase and Royal Bond Novices Hurdle, it’s a highlight of the National Hunt season in Ireland and an early marker for horses aiming for the Champion Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival in March.

This year’s Hatton’s Grace will see five runners head to post, including the unbeaten Impaire Et Passe for trainer Willie Mullins and last year’s winner, the Gordon Elliott-trained Teahupoo.

2023 Hatton’s Grace Hurdle Tips

Five runners are set to go to post at 2:35pm on Sunday afternoon at Fairyhouse, with the Grade One Hatton’s Grace Hurdle title, the prize on offer.

Impaire Et Passe is the favourite, and it’s no surprise. He’s currently unbeaten, a perfect five from five, and that includes winning at Grade One level on his last two starts as a novice, at the end of last season.

He’s an exciting prospect this season, and although quite short in the betting, should take all the beating.

Elsewhere, Teahupoo looks to be the main danger, a Grade One winner himself.

However, his limitations have already been exposed really, third in the Stayers Hurdle at Cheltenham and fourth in the Stayers Hurdle at Punchestown to end last season.

There’s also a question over this trip being slightly too short, further enhancing the claims of Impaire Et Passe.
