When & Where Is The Yorkshire Ebor Meeting?
The Yorkshire Ebor meeting takes place towards the back end of August with 2023 dates now confirmed as Wednesday August 23 – Saturday August 26, 2023.
Taking place at York racecourse, it’s the city’s pride and joy, welcoming major races such as the Juddmonte International, the Yorkshire Oaks and the Strensall Stakes.
It’s been running since 1843 and continues to be one of the must visit, and must bet on, horse racing events in the north of England.

Ebor Major Races, Runner’s & Odds
There are a number of major races across the four days, with them all falling in the middle of the day and backed up by a series of Group 2, Group 3 and Handicap races.
The big three are generally considered as some of the more prestigious in the country, with prize money reaching £1 million in the case of the Ebor, the week’s biggest race.
Elsewhere, the Juddmonte International, Yorkshire Oaks and Nunthorpe Stakes are the three Group 1 races at the meeting.
