I'm A Celebrity 2026 Odds: Wayne Rooney Favourite To Be Crowned King of the Jungle

Wayne Rooney heads the early betting in the I’m A Celebrity 2026 odds from bet365 and other UK betting sites, with YouTuber Sharky and comedian Leigh Francis also among the leading contenders.
The prices have emerged before ITV has confirmed the cast, so all names in this article remain speculative until the official line-up announcement.
The former England and Manchester United captain is the headline name.
His wife Coleen finished runner-up behind Danny Jones in 2024, and bet365’s Steve Freeth says Rooney is keen to go one better.
Last year, online creator Angry Ginge won the show ahead of Tom Read Wilson and Shona McGarty, and bet365 believes Sharky could follow a similar path.
Below, you’ll find the full winner odds table, followed by a look at each reported contestant, their background and their prospects of being crowned King or Queen of the Jungle.

I'm A Celebrity 2026 Contestants
Here’s a closer look at the reported contestants, their backgrounds and what they could bring to the jungle.
Wayne Rooney
Rooney is the name that sells the series.
He is Manchester United's former captain, spent his playing career at Everton, United, D.C. United and Derby, and won 120 England caps and 53 goals.
He then moved into management with Derby, D.C. United, Birmingham and Plymouth, where he was sacked on New Year's Eve 2024.
He has mainly worked as a pundit and podcaster since.
The betting case for him is simple: he is the biggest name, he follows his wife's run to the final, and the public tends to warm to a famous face who shows his sense of humour.
The risk is that the favourite has to survive the trials and every vote, and a short price leaves little margin.
Sharky
Sharmarke Mohamud, known as Sharky, is a member of the YouTube group Beta Squad, which has more than 12 million subscribers.
Born in Utrecht to Somali parents, he grew up in London, was in a Tottenham development squad and worked as a steward at the Emirates before starting his channel.
He is the market's second choice, and bet365 compare his profile to Angry Ginge's.
A young online audience that votes in numbers is the clearest route to the title for a creator, which is why he is shorter than far better-known names.
Leigh Francis
Francis is the man behind Keith Lemon and Bo' Selecta!, and he fronted Celebrity Juice from 2008 to 2022 and Through the Keyhole from 2013 to 2019.
He is a household name for ITV viewers, and the show has a record of backing comedians who stay funny in camp.
The question is whether he plays himself or the character.
A natural entertainer with a loyal audience at 6/1 is the sort of price that could tighten once the series starts.
Chloe Burrows
Burrows came to fame on Love Island in 2021 and has since done Celebs Go Dating, Celebrity Masterchef and Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins.
She co-hosts the KISS Breakfast show with Tyler West and has her own podcast, Chloe vs The World.
Radio Times reported that ITV see her as a way to reach a younger audience, much like Angry Ginge and GK Barry.
Her SAS experience should help in the trials, so she is a name to watch among the shorter prices.
Joanna Page
Page played Stacey in Gavin & Stacey, whose 2024 Christmas finale was the most-watched scripted show in more than two decades.
The Welsh actor was also in Love Actually and was the star under the Pig mask on The Masked Dancer in 2022.
She brings a very big audience from the sitcom and a likeable image, but at 11/1 the market is not rating her among the leading contenders yet.
That could change if she wins over camp.
Ade Adepitan
Adepitan was born in Lagos, contracted polio as an infant and moved to east London aged three.
He won a bronze medal with Britain's wheelchair basketball team at the 2004 Paralympics, was made an MBE in 2005 and has presented sport and travel shows for the BBC.
Radio Times reported that ITV were keen to adapt the camp for him.
A hugely popular presenter and a proper sporting record is a profile voters tend to back, and 12/1 may look generous if he does well in the trials.
AJ Odudu
Odudu has co-presented Big Brother since 2023 and Celebrity Big Brother since 2024 alongside Will Best.
She reached the Strictly Come Dancing final in 2021 before an ankle injury forced her out the day before the live final, and she is a seasoned TV face from Blackburn.
She knows how a public vote works from the Strictly run, and she is used to life under the cameras.
Jack Skipper
Skipper went from carpet fitter to full-time comedian.
He was runner-up in So You Think You're Funny? in 2022, won Best Debut Show at the 2024 Leicester Comedy Festival Awards and has been on Live at the Apollo.
He has a big TikTok following and relatable stories about working-class family life.
A comedian from social media who is new to many ITV viewers can grow quickly on this show, which makes 12/1 interesting.
Ricky Wilson
Wilson fronts Kaiser Chiefs, who have sold more than eight million records and had two number one albums, and was a coach on The Voice UK.
The Sun reported that he had turned the show down for years before finally agreeing.
He should be a likeable presence in camp, and musicians have a good record here: McFly's Danny Jones won in 2024, Westlife's Kian Egan in 2013 and Busted's Matt Willis in 2006.
At 16/1 he is priced as a longer shot with a real each-way chance.
Claire Sweeney
Sweeney, from Liverpool, is known for Brookside and played Cassie Plummer in Coronation Street for three years, with her final appearance in August.
The Sun reported on 30 October that she was in advanced talks and had cleared her diary.
She is the longest price in bet365's top ten.
She played the mother of Alan Halsall's character Tyrone on Corrie, and Halsall went on the show in 2024, so she has seen up close how it works.
Leomie Anderson
Anderson is a model who appeared in four Victoria’s Secret Fashion Shows between 2015 and 2018 before becoming an Angel in 2019.
She also co-hosts Glow Up: Britain’s Next Make-Up Star, giving her experience in both fashion and television.
Unlike contestants with established soap or reality TV followings, Anderson’s profile is built around modelling and presenting.
That could make the public vote harder to predict, with her time in camp giving viewers the chance to see a different side of her personality and build a connection with her.
Mariella Frostrup
Frostrup is a Norwegian-born broadcaster who presented Radio 4's Open Book from 2002 to 2020 and was The Observer's agony aunt for almost 20 years.
She is the UK Government's Menopause Employment Ambassador.
Her route to the title is likely to be through the public warming to her calm presence.
When Does I'm A Celebrity 2026 Start?
