Luke Littler triumphs again in Antwerp at Flanders Darts Trophy final

Luke Littler was the main man once again as he lifted a fourth PDC European Tour title with a thrilling comeback win over Josh Rock.
The teenager's dominance in the field is to such an extent that he heads into each tournament as favourite with most betting sites, and he is facing a busy few second half of the year.
Free Bets darts expert Lewis Watson has taken a closer look at Littler's form.
Luke Littler underlined his growing stature on the European Tour with a nerveless 8-7 victory over Josh Rock in a gripping Flanders Darts Trophy final.
The 18-year-old found himself staring down a 5-2 deficit after Rockโs fast start in Antwerp, but rallied in style, rattling off four straight legs to flip the match on its head. When Rock clawed back to force a last-leg decider at 7-7, the stage was set.
Composure was the difference. Littler coolly pieced together an 11-darter, pinning double 18 to seal his fourth PDC European Tour title โ and his second in Belgium this year.
โI think ever since Iโve been playing darts, it might sound crazy but I love a last-leg decider,โ Littler said afterwards. โI back myself near enough every time โฆ but I had to go out in 11 [darts] there.โ
Already a winner in Austria and twice before in Belgium, Littler has now triumphed in two of his three European Tour appearances this season - a record that confirms the teenager is not just a prodigy, but a proven force.
โThe European tour stage, I love it," he continued. "I love coming here and Iโve said for the past year now that we need a Premier League event here.
โThey love me here, I love them, they wanted Josh to win for a bit in that game, but for myself I had to crawl back from 4-1 down, then I knew theyโd get back on my side.
โThis is it now. From now itโs back-to-back with tournaments, September and October are some of the craziest months of the calendar, I know how to deal with that and know whatโs coming up.โ
Over the next two months the PDC Tour goes to Czech Republic, Hungary, Switzerland and Germany in the European Tour, plus big televised events at the World Series of Darts Finals, World Grand Prix, European Championship, Grand Slam of Darts and the Players Championship Finals.
And then, it's the big one.
The 2025/26 World Darts Championship begins on December 11th this year and will once again be dominating the sporting headlines over three weeks of unmissable darting action.
And as we edge closer and closer to that season-defining period inside London's Alexandra Palace, Luke Littler looks more and more likely to defend his crown and underline his place as the man to beat in the world of darts.
