Darts Tips: World Championship Round 3 Saturday Predictions & Odds

After three days without any action at Alexandra Palace, the business end of the PDC World Darts Championship is set to get underway.
The format now moves to best of seven sets, and we have bets for all three matches taking place in the Saturday evening session.
Darts Tips: World Championship Round 3ย
Check out the Free Bets top betting tips for Round 3 of the 2026 PDC World Darts Championship, featuring the best picks and latest odds for the action at the Ally Pally on Saturday.
Tip 1: Andreas Harrysson over 89.5 average vs Ricardo Pietreczko - 5/6 with bet365
Andreas Harryssonโs overall average does not really reflect how good he can be when properly motivated. His stage appearances have been limited so far in his career, but when he has played on the European Tour, across just two events in the last two seasons, his match averages have been 107, 96, 94, 106 and 91. Those numbers give a far clearer picture of his ceiling.
When playing in the Modus Super Series this summer, the Swede regularly posted averages in the 90s, with several ton-plus performances mixed in as well.
He averaged only 88 in round two here, but he was never put under real pressure by Motomu Sakai. The 93 average he produced over five sets against Ross Smith is much more relevant in this context, and it would be a surprise if he dropped into the 80s in this matchup.
Tip 2: James Hurrell +2.5 sets vs Stephen Bunting - 5/6 with Paddy Power
Stephen Bunting rode his luck in the first round at Alexandra Palace, letting a 2-0 lead slip after a fast start and ultimately needing a deciding set to get past world number 79 Sebastian Bialecki.
He then had as good as a bye in round two, coasting past Nitin Kumar, who could not reproduce his round-one heroics and averaged just 75 against Bunting.
The Bulletโs form coming into this tournament was not convincing, and even with a couple of wins, he has not quite done enough to fully shake off those doubts.
James Hurrell, meanwhile, has already caused one upset by knocking out Dirk van Duijvenbode, and can now treat this as something of a free hit, having already achieved his best performance at a PDC major by reaching this stage.
This run has not come completely out of nowhere either. Hurrell beat Jonny Clayton and Luke Woodhouse at the Players Championship Finals, and also made a quarter-final and a semi-final on the Pro Tour in the second half of the season.
He hit 10 180s against Van Duijvenbode, averaged 115 in one of the sets, and sat steadily in the 90s for three of the other four. That reliable base level, combined with clear upside, should give him a realistic chance of taking a couple of sets here.
Tip 3: Mensur Suljovic over 4.5 180s vs Luke Littler - 9/4 with bet365
Mensur Suljovic did not play well against Joe Cullen, but relied on his experience, and what some might call gamesmanship, to get through the match.
He is a much better player than he showed in that contest. His opening-round win over David Cameron was closer to his true level, even now, more than half a decade on from his peak years.
The Austrian is still a decent 180 hitter as well. He managed only three maximums in four sets against Cullen, and while he hit the same number against Cameron, he also recorded 18 scores of 140 or more, which made for a fairly frustrating split if you were backing 180s in that match.
He is guaranteed at least four sets here, and his usual 180 rate would not leave him far away from covering this higher line of over 4.5. He is capable of taking a set, which would give this bet a real chance. Luke Littler has not dropped a set yet, but that does not tell the full story, as his opponents have simply failed to take their chances. Hopefully, for the sake of this bet, Mensur does not make the same mistake.
