It’s beginning to look a lot like… the 2026 PDC World Darts Championship! And here at Free Bets, we can't wait!

Darts World Championship Tips
Not even a full year has passed since Luke Littler became the youngest world champion the sport has ever seen, yet his rise has only accelerated. He has added another five major trophies in that time, pushing his total to nine and placing him behind only Phil Taylor (79), Michael van Gerwen (48) and James Wade (11) on the all-time list.
His surge continued at the Grand Slam of Darts, where he overtook Luke Humphries to claim the world No.1 ranking — becoming the youngest player to reach that position.
With a historic £1million prize awaiting the winner on January 3, it already feels like the beginning of a long reign at the top.
But this marathon competition inside the Ally Pally will see the “Nuke” tested to his limit, and there are always underdog stories at the World Championship that threaten to de-rail the top seeds.
Let’s take a look at some betting tips for 2026 PDC World Darts Championship:
Tip 1: Luke Littler to win the 2026 PDC World Darts Championship at 19/20 with Unibet
It’s a testament to Luke Littler’s dominance that he starts this year’s tournament as an odds-on favourite with UK betting sites.
The teenage sensation can be found at 19/20 with Unibet to successfully defend his title in North London, and it's increasingly hard to ignore his credentials.
The main reason for this is Littler’s reliability over the longer formats.
Like any player, Littler is susceptible to losses in races to six legs, but in set play — especially deeper in the tournament — it’s hard to see how a player will be able to sustain an attack on the “Nuke” for so long that they are able to topple him.
Littler has won an incredible 58/82 sets inside the Ally Pally, running to the final in his both appearances, and we’re not expecting anything different in the first few days of 2026.
Tip 2: Dirk van Duijvenbode to win Quarter 2 at 10/1 with bet365
If anyone is to challenge the top seeds Stephen Bunting or Jonny Clayton in the second quarter of the draw, it’s the big-hitting Dutchman Dirk van Duijvenbode.
The “Aubergenius” has a lofty average over this season despite not bagging a title, but is always capable of purple patches that can see him enter the mix in his quarter.
He reached the quarter-finals here in 2021 and ran well at the World Grand Prix a few weeks back and has been handed a pretty easy segment at the start of the draw to get him up and running.
10/1 says he can reach the semi-finals here and run into Littler in the last four.
Tip 3: Beau Greaves to win Quarter 4 at 16/1 with 10Bet
If there are to be any big news stories away from Littler this season, then Beau Greaves is a front-runner to be making them.
The 21-year-old is the World Youth Championship runner-up from last month, but making a real splash on the tour after a handful of big wins within the WDF.
She beat Littler en route to her World Youth Championship final in November, eventually losing to Gian van Veen, but has gained crucial experience on the televised oche this season to benefit her inside the Palace.
16/1 is a bit of a punt considering she is quartered with the talented Josh Rock, Michael van Gerwen and Danny Noppert, but with a bit of early success her momentum could gather.
