Liverpool vs PSG Tips, Champions League Predictions & Odds

We have reached the business end of the Champions League now as the teams go up against each other in the second leg of the quarterfinals. Liverpool is hosting PSG in what should be an exciting game to look forward to on Tuesday night.
PSG showed how good they can be in the first leg finishing with a 2-0 lead going into Tuesday nights game. Liverpool may have a mountain to climb but they have players that can produce special performances.
Liverpool vs PSG Tips
Here are our top three football betting tips and the best free bets ahead of Tuesday night’s clash at Anfield.
Tip 1: PSG to win and both teams to score @ 11/4 (Paddy Power)
Liverpool have had a tough time of it this season compared to last years Premier League winning campaign. They are sitting fifth in the league with 52 points and are a long way off where they were this time last year.
They had a solid home win against Fulham on Saturday evening going into this game and rested some of their main players as well. Given that they are 2-0 down in the tie it is expected that they will go for it early and the crowd will get behind them.
Despite the benefit of being at home it’s tough to see Liverpool beating this PSG team who are showing their quality at the right time. They are top of Ligue 1 by four points and have a game in hand.
Once again, they didn’t have a game at the weekend meaning that PSG could rest all their players going into this contest. The same happened against Chelsea in the last round and they beat them comfortably.
Expect a similar outcome to happen here where Liverpool will push the Champions League holders but ultimately fail.
Tip 2: Vitinha to score or assist @ 7/4 (Paddy Power)
When you look at Vitinha’s stats during the Ligue 1 campaign they might not seem impressive with one goal and seven assists. However, when you add his Champions League form to it, they look much better.
The Portuguese midfielder has score six goals and had one more assist to total a season tally of seven goals and eight assists. He seems to come alive on Champions League nights and should get some opportunities in this game against a poor Liverpool defence.
Tip 3: Dominik Szoboszlai 1+ shot on target, Alexis Mac Allister to be shown a card, Vitinha to score or assist @ 10/1 (Paddy Power)
Dominik Szoboszlai has been one of Liverpool’s most consistent performers this season. He is always good for a shot and is their main threat from free kicks as well.
Alexis Mac Allister loves to be involved in a middle of the park battle and sometimes gets over aggressive. The Argentina international has been booked five times in the Premier League this season and twice more In the Champions League. He could get another here.
Finally add Vitinha to score or assist. He is always involved in PSG’s attacks and has scored six goals already in the Champions League this season.
