Manchester United vs Brentford Tips, Premier League Predictions & Odds

Manchester United will be looking to take another significant step towards Champions League qualification when they host Brentford in the Premier League on Monday evening.
A trip to Old Trafford won’t frazzle Brentford, who also harbour European ambitions, but things appear rather congested from sixth down to 10th, with just three points separating five teams at the time of writing.
Manchester United vs Brentford Tips
What should you look out for ahead of this game? We’ve underlined this preview with several football betting tips to give you food for thought.
Tip 1: Manchester United to Win & Both Teams to Score
Although there has been the odd hiccup here or there, United have largely looked more assured under Michael Carrick.
The 1-0 win over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge was just the second time United recorded a Premier League double over the Blues, with the other coming during the 2019/20 campaign.
More significantly, it was United’s eighth victory in Carrick’s 12 league games in charge (D2 L2), spelling a significant improvement from their first 21 matches of this season (W8 D8 L5).
Brentford, meanwhile, were recently held to a turgid draw against Fulham, denoting the fifth league game in a row where they were forced to settle for a share of the points.
Although Brentford ran United ragged at the Gtech Community Stadium earlier in the season, I fancy United to exact revenge. The Red Devils haven’t lost at home against Brentford in the Premier League era, so United to win & BTTS is screaming out to me.
Tip 2: First Goal (Brentford)
A lack of killer instinct has cost Brentford dear at times, but Keith Andrews has made them organised at the back and tough to break down.
Three of their past five league games have seen them keep a clean sheet, and in two of those, they went ahead before they were pegged back.
Intriguingly, on Brentford’s last visit to Old Trafford in October 2024, the Bees stunned the home crowd when they scored the opening goal before United flipped things around.
For my second tip, I think Brentford could seize the initiative and break the deadlock.
Tip 3: Manchester United to Win & BTTS, Bruno Fernandes Anytime Assist, Over 12.5 Shots on Target
United are making strides under Carrick, and they haven’t lost at home against Brentford in the Premier League era, the Red Devils to win & BTTS makes sense.
Bruno Fernandes has been superb, weighing in with 18 assists this term, leaving him two short of the seasonal record jointly held by Thierry Henry and Kevin De Bruyne. An anytime Fernandes assist is worth adding to your slip.
Wrap things up with Over 12.5 shots on target. Two of the last three league contests have seen this line surpassed, so jump on this market.
