Stevenage are a very low scoring team, averaging only just over one goal per game, and at some point in this tie, they're going to have to attack on the front foot, I'm fascinated to see how that plays out, and also a little worried for them.
Stockport are the opposite, the fifth highest scoring team in the league, form couldn't be any better too when it comes to goals, they've ended the season by scoring three goals in three of their last five games.
Tip 1: Stockport to Win @ 2/1
I saw Stockport last week when they comfortably beat Barnsley 3-1. I didn't think they were at their best, but did enough to impress me on the day.
They certainly impressed me more than fellow playoff hopefuls Bradford and Stevenage have done in recent weeks.
Goals are going to be key here, the more goals in the tie, the more chance Stockport have of winning. Stevenage are good at keeping things tight, but they have to attack in this game, going away without something to hold onto will not end well.
I think Stevenage will try and be a little more expansive, but it won't work. Stockport can get past them, they've plenty of attacking threats, and I think the value in this tie is all for Stockport to win the game, they should be lower than 2/1 to do so.
Tip 2: Adama Sidibeh to Score Anytime
I expect Sidibeh to lead the line for Stockport, and I think they'll win the game, or at least score in it, so I'm blown away by the fact that he's available at 4/1 to score anytime here, I think that's massive.
Six goals in Scotland before moving to Stockport, he added six more this season, and scored at Barnsley last week.
That was his first goal in a while, but he was a constant threat all game, and had another couple of chances.
Alongside those 12 total league goals, he's scored four more in cup competitions, and scored away at Stevenage back in February.
