Eurovision Latest Free Bet Offers
As we approach the big event, here is a look at our best free bet betting offers for Eurovision 2023.
Eurovision Betting Markets
When it comes to Eurovision bets, the most common market is that of outright winner.
Basically, these Eurovision betting offers refer to the country taking home the title and hosting of the next competition. Most Eurovision free bets are also available for this market, offering punters a free bet in return for betting on the country to be crowned. Before the final, the semi-finals are often open for Eurovision free bets and even live betting.
This is big business for bookies, particularly as in-play is so sought after for punters. You can opt for bets and the best Eurovision betting odds while the song is even performed.
As this competition is so unique, Eurovision song contest betting can often take a turn for the ridiculous. This year’s performers are some of the finest we’ve seen grace the stage, and the likes of Paddy Power offer markets on the most unique songs.
Plus, you can find decent Eurovision odds on the countries to walk away will zero points.
Eurovision Live Streaming
As we mentioned above, the Eurovision Song Contest is famous the world over. With unique betting opportunities covering everything from which country will win through to who will leave with zero points, it is a betting event that is not to be missed.
Eurovision live streaming enables you to keep up to date with all of the action, even allowing you to place bets in-play to maximise the fun of the contest.
How to watch Eurovision Online
Many bookmakers offer live streaming of an event – including the Eurovision Song Contest – usually after a minimum bet value has been reached. Using your tablet, mobile phone or laptop, you can watch Eurovision live streaming on any device with internet connectivity.
Depending on the capabilities of your device, you can even stream the Eurovision Song Contest on the go using mobile data, meaning you don’t have to miss out on any of the fun, even if you are not at home or within range of a wifi connection.
Eurovision Free Bets & Special Betting Offers
Betting offers aren’t completely reserved for sports. There are all sorts of betting opportunities out there, and Eurovision offers some of the most exciting ones.
It’s one of the biggest, most high-profile events in the world, watched by millions around the globe. So, naturally, bookmakers allow customers to place all sorts of bets on Eurovision. Most online betting platforms will include their own sign-up bonus, and many will offer special promotions targeted at Eurovision.
These tend to come out as the day of the tournament gets closer, so look out for bookmakers plugging special betting offers between now and then.
Previous Winners & Most Wins
The country with the most wins is, surprisingly, Ireland. They last won the contest in 1996 and had a spate of victories from 1992 to 1994. Unfortunately, Ireland is ranked number 23 on the list of countries expected to do well, so we probably won’t see much from them. Israel, have 4 wins under their belts. The 2017 winner was Salvador Sobral, taking home the title for the first time for Portugal after the contest’s longest winless run.
While the UK hasn’t done well recently, up until 1980, they had only finished outside of the top 10 twice. The UK took the title in 1967, 1969, 1976, 1981 and 1997, with the likes of Lulu and Bucks Fizz.
About the Contest and How it Works
First established in 1956, the Eurovision Song Contest is preparing for the 64th competition. In a nutshell, 43 countries send one performer to the host country, with a maximum of six people in one entry.
The song must not exceed three minutes and should only be released a certain number of months before the event. The song is, typically, revealed through a nationally televised selection, or through an internal selection.
Each country is free to decide whether they send their number one star, or a brand-new talent, and this is when the Eurovision predictions begin. The winner of the event is then chosen over through two semi-finals and a grand final, all available for Eurovision betting.
Traditionally, there are six countries always granted place to the final, and they are the host nation, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the UK. The best ten from each semi-final will make it to the big day, with a total of 26 participants competing.
