William Hill are now offering Non-Runner No Bet on all races at the 2024 Cheltenham Festival, the first of the leading bookmakers to do so.

How Does Non-Runner No Bet Work?
Non-Runner No Bet essentially offers punters a safety net against their chosen horse not lining up in the specified race.
Many horses are entered in multiple races at the Cheltenham Festival, and their target race is not always obvious. With NRNB Cheltenham betting markets, your full stake will be refunded as cash if your horse doesn’t line up in the race you selected - with normal antepost betting, your stake would be lost.
While it is understandable that the generally shorter prices quoted by William Hill take into account the fact that stakes will be returned on all non-runners, there is still plenty of potential value to be had, especially should one or more of the antepost favourites fall by the wayside in the run-up to the 2024 Cheltenham Festival.

What if my selection is part of an accumulator?
If you back a non-runner in multiple bets such as doubles, trebles or Yankees, with the NRNB concession, your selection will be deemed void, just like a normal non-runner would be treated. So for example, a double would become a single, and a treble would become a double etc.
