Behind Willie Mullins, the big Irish hope at Cheltenham this week is of course Gordon Elliott. He's got plenty of live chances coming into the week, and we're going to take a look at them all.
We've got Gordon Elliott day 1 runners for the Cheltenham Festival, plus their latest betting odds, so you can see how the markets are shaping up.
It's the biggest week of the year, the excitement is building and here at Free Bets we will be guiding you through it all.
Gordon Elliott Day 1 Runners: Full Entries for Tuesday
The opening day begins with seven races, and Elliott has runners in six out of the seven contests.
He'll be looking to land at least one winner and while there's no short priced odds from betting sites on his runners, he's got plenty in with a lively chance on the first day.
1:20pm - Supreme Novices' Hurdle
For the first race of the day, Elliott sends two runners and there's no doubting that his big hope for the Supreme is El Cairos, who has Jack Kennedy on board.
Koktail Brut is his second runner in the race, an outsider ridden by Danny Gilligan.
2:00pm - Arkle Chase
The Arkle is the only runner on Tuesday's card where Elliott doesn't have a runner.
2:40pm - Juvenile Handicap Hurdle
The juvenile hurdle has two Gordon Elliott runners, both of which are outsiders.
Sam Ewing rides Hardy Stuff, while claimer Josh Williamson rides Barbizon and takes off 5lb with his claim.
3:20pm - Ultima Handicap Chase
Elliott also runs two in the Ultima Handicap Chase, again two outsiders in the field.
Jack Kennedy is up on Patter Merchant near the bottom of the weights, while James Smith, claiming 5lb, takes the ride on Search For Glory.
4:00pm - Champion Hurdle
The big Gordon Elliott hope on day one comes in the feature contest where he will be hoping Brighterdaysahead can lift the Champion Hurdle crown.
A talented mare, but she's not yet shown her best at this course, will she do that today under Jack Kennedy?
4:40pm - Plate Handicap Chase
The two runners at the top of the weights for this handicap are both trained by Gordon Elliott, so they'll have to carry plenty of weight if they are to win.
Jack Kennedy rides the fancied runner, Down Memory Lane, while Danny Gilligan is on the outsider Dee Capo.
5:20pm - National Hunt Novices' Chase
The final race of the day also sees Elliott run two, and again just like before, Jack Kennedy and Danny Gilligan take the rides.
Kurasso Blue looks the main hope, with Kennedy on his back.
Gordon Elliott Day 1 Winners?
Brighterdaysahead carries the main hopes for Gordon Elliott day 1 runners and she goes into the Champion Hurdle with a fighting chance for sure, if she can show her best form and not what she's shown at the track so far.
After that, the closing two handicaps look to hold the best chances, as is usually the case for this trainer.
He's got a fancied runner in the Plate Handicap, Down Memory Lane, while he's also got a nice chance in the National Hunt Chase with Kurasso Blue.
Elliott hasn't always had the best times at Cheltenham, plenty of things haven't gone his way in recent years. But we know what a talented trainer he is, and we know he'll be throwing plenty of darts across the week, beginning with 11 runners on the opening day.
