Darts Tips: Premier League Manchester Week 9 Predictions & Odds

Breaking news: Luke Littler is pretty good at darts.
After a sluggish start to this year’s Premier League campaign, the 19-year-old has now won three of the last three weeks, rocketing himself up the standings to the summit of the league table.
In winning last week’s final in Berlin — thanks to a 6-4 victory over Michael van Gerwen — Littler has leapfrogged Jonny Clayton to number one spot, and is finding the form that we expected of the back-to-back world champion at the start of 2026.
And it’s not just Luke Littler showing his teeth.
19 points down the table at the foot, Josh Rock finally got off the mark last week besting Clayton 6-3.
The Northern Irishman went 0-7 before that Berlin victory, and will hope to use that win as a catalyst as he is paired with the ‘Ferret’ again this Thursday in Manchester.
Darts Tips: Premier League Manchester
Elsewhere, Gerwyn Price and MVG make up spots three and four in the league and Luke Humphries, Gian van Veen and Josh Rock are the trio of players yet to win a night.
Let’s take a look at some of the best darts tips for Thursday night
Gerwyn Price vs Luke Humphries - Over 9.5 legs at 5/6 with Paddy Power
There’s never too much separating Price and Humphries at the oche.
Over the last ten meetings, Price holds a narrow 6-4 advantage, and it’s currently 1-1 after two meetings in this season’s Premier League.
Those two matches finished 6-5 and 6-3, and in Manchester on Thursday at least 10 legs to be contested between these two looks a relative tap-in.
Humphries will be desperate to register his first nightly win of the season and an early scalp of the Welshman may well set him on his way.
Luke Littler 6-4 Gian van Veen at 9/2 with bet365
We’re deep into that period where Luke Littler looks like he’s never going to lose a leg of darts again, let alone a match.
Gian van Veen has had some thrillers with the ‘Nuke’ over recent years — especially at Youth level — and knows the 19-year-old’s game inside out.
But that should only be enough to see him register a handful of legs on Thursday.
Littler’s form — coupled with the fact that GvV hasn’t won a match since week four — should see the world champion advance with a bit of breathing room.
Josh Rock to beat Jonny Clayton at 6/5 with bet365
We’re predicting wins to be like London buses for Josh Rock.
Not big, red, sweaty and cramped — more like two coming along at once.
Rock got up and running in the league thanks to a 6-3 win over Clayton last week in Berlin, and with the ‘Ferret’ still struggling with form, Rock has the chance to double down on this success and chalk another two points up on the board.
Clayton has plenty of points in the bank at this stage, but another quarter-final exit may see him sweat.
