Tip 1: Connor Scutt to beat Gary Anderson at 2/1 with bet365

We’ve seen plenty of shocks from underdogs so far this season, and Connor Scutt has a great chance to add his name to that list on Tuesday.

Scutt averaged 91 in knocking out Simon Whitlock in the opening round, as the 29-year-old looks to build on the form that has seen him edge into the world’s top 50.

Gary Anderson knows this tournament and venue inside out, but without a run past the fourth round since 2022 will know he is a little more vulnerable than in his heyday.

Scutt is a 2/1 underdog here and worth backing.

Tip 2: Michael van Gerwen vs William O’Connor - Over 4.5 sets at 13/8 with bet365

We’re still not convinced about this version of Michael van Gerwen.

The Dutchman hasn’t won a ranked TV major since late-2022 and looked vulnerable in his 3-1 opening round win over Japan’s Mitsuhiko Tatsunami.

Ireland’s William O’Connor is in the opposite corner on Tuesday and is fancied by many to run deep at this year’s tournament after a positive end to 2025 in the PDC Players Championship.

O’Connor averaged a massive 102 against Krzysztof Kciuk in the first round, advancing 3-0 and heading into an MVG clash full of confidence.

We’re expecting this one to go all the way, with the Irishman showing good value for the win.

Tip 3: Joe Comito to hit first 180 & over 3.5 sets vs Josh Rock at 12/1 with bet365

Josh Rock is fancied by many to run to the quarters or semis this year, but nearly got stuck in the traps against Gemma Hayter in the first round.

Whether it was nerves or just one of those days we are not sure, but the Northern Irish World Cup winner will have to start faster against Joe Comito.

Comito is pretty limited (he averaged just 85 against Niko Springer on Tuesday last week) but an early surge could see him competitive in the early stages.
