Grand Slam of Darts Tips: Day 4 Tuesday Best Bets & Predictions
Lewis Watson
The groups at the Grand Slam of Darts wrap up on Tuesday night with a number of big names still jostling for position to advance into the knockouts.
And with Niko Springer topping Group G — an 11/2 pre-tournament pick from Free Bets — it’s a shoot-out between two former world champions, Gary Anderson and Michael van Gerwen, to see who joins him.
Elsewhere, Luke Littler is safely into the last 16, as is Danny Noppert, but there’s plenty to play for in Group F with three bright future stars Josh Rock, Gian van Veen and Wessel Nijman looking to steal a march on the others.
Grand Slam of Darts Tips: Day 4
Let’s take a look at some darts tips for Day 4 of the Grand Slam of Darts.
Tip 1: Luke Littler -3.5 handicap - 5/4
Despite qualifying for the knockouts, we’re not sure Luke Littler is in the mood to take his foot off the gas.
The teenage sensation has dropped just four legs averaging 102 across his two outings, and the already-eliminated Daryl Gurney shouldn’t cause the “Nuke” many problems.
This one could be over pretty quickly, so we’re edging towards either a 5-0 or 5-1 win for the world champion, making use of the -3.5 handicap market.
Tip 2: Gary Anderson to beat Michael van Gerwen - 11/10
It is winner takes all between former world champions Gary Anderson and Michael van Gerwen, both hoping to join Niko Springer in the knockouts.
Anderson (3-5) took the heavier loss to Springer compared to MVG (4-5) so starts slightly on the back foot knowing that he has to attack from the off against the Dutchman.
But Anderson is the man in better form in 2025.
He has a 31% win percentage over van Gerwen which although sounds low, is better than a lot of players across the tour, and at 11/10 we are backing the Scot to edge past van Gerwen in one of the evening’s most notable matches.
Tip 3: Gian van Veen to beat Josh Rock - 17/20
Although this one feels like a coin toss, we’ve got to side with the player that has most recently bagged a major PDC TV title.
Gian van Veen was electric in Dortmund a fortnight ago at the European Championships, and with two wins from two already here, averaging over 100, he’s the pick to edge out the talented Josh Rock.
“Rocky” has had a 2025 to remember reaching three major semi-finals and scooping the World Cup for Northern Ireland, but van Veen is a future world champion in waiting, and the class may just shine through in this race to five.
