Darts Tips: Premier League Brighton Week 10 Predictions & Odds

The topsy-turvy Premier League season delivered another memorable week last Thursday in Manchester with an unlikely final four slugging it out for valuable points.
Gerwyn Price, Gian van Veen, Stephen Bunting and Josh Rock all strengthened their hands by securing upset quarter-final wins inside the Manchester Arena, and it was Price who eventually got over the line to grab the maximum five points from the evening, besting van Veen 6-2 in the final.
We’re closing in on May’s all-important playoffs now, so consider the race for the top four officially open.
Luke Littler, Price, Jonny Clayton and Michael van Gerwen are the four men in possession of these spots as we head to Brighton on Thursday, but confidence is building in the bottom half of the table.
Darts Tips: Premier League Brighton
Let’s take a look at three oft the best darts tips for Thursday night.
Luke Humphries - Match win and most 180s vs Jonny Clayton at 7/4 with Paddy Power
After scuttling to the top of the standings after week six, the “Ferret” Jonny Clayton has been in free fall.
The Welshman — struggling with gout — has lost three Premier League games in a row at the quarter-final stage and has slipped down into third after failing to pick up a point since Nottingham.
He’s up against the out of form former world number one Luke Humphries this week, who after nine weeks has made just the solitary final, losing 6-1 to — you guessed it — Clayton.
But the pressure is firmly on Humphries to perform this week and with Clayton notching up just 10 legs across his last three losses, we fancy “Cool Hand” to succeed.
Gerwyn Price vs Josh Rock - Over 9.5 legs at Evens with Paddy Power
It would be slightly condescending to suggest that Josh Rock is the man in form of the league at the moment, but after winning back-to-back quarter-finals the Northern Irishman is finally making moves off the bottom of the table.
Rock is now sat on four points, in punching distance of Bunting above him, assuming he takes the maximum five points in Brighton.
He’ll have to do it the hard way.
Price is a real battler in the league phase and rarely throws in the towel no matter who the opposition.
A 6-4 or 6-5 looks good here as Rock continues to show his progression.
Luke Littler -2.5 handicap vs Stephen Bunting at 4/6 with bet365
Littler took last week off in Manchester.
Gian van Veen got in the head of the world champion, beating him 6-5 in the quarter-final, but don’t expect that to hangover into Brighton as the teenager wipes the memory from his thoughts.
He’s on a collision course to meet with the Dutchman again in the semi-final on Thursday if they both come through their ties, and that should be all the motivation the “Nuke” needs in Brighton as he sweeps aside the unpredictable Bunting.
Bunting has won just five from 13 matches this campaign, and Littler should have some breathing space before the line.
