New York Jets vs New England Patriots Bet Builder, Tips, Predictions & Latest Odds
Adam Martin
Last weeks bet builder was a bit of a disaster. The only good thing is that we were not the only ones as everyone probably got it wrong with the Broncos and Raiders playing out an 10-7 bore fest.
Now we move on to week 11 and start the week with an AFC East divisional matchup. The New England Patriots are hosting the New York Jets in what should be a more entertaining game than people might think.
That won't stop us though, we have three more NFL tips for this Thursday's game with the latest odds from the top UK betting sites.
Jets vs Patriots Bet Builder Tips
We have a 6/1 bet builder with Paddy Power this week.
New England Patriots -4.5 (Alternate handicap market)
Itโs hard to think that anything other than a New England win is going to happen in this game. The Patriots sit top of the AFC East with an 8-2 record having just won seven games in a row.
A lot is made about the fact that the Patriots have had an easy schedule, but they have beaten some decent sides this season. Wins against the Bills along with wins against the Falcons and Buccaneers show they are doing more than just beating the poorest teams.
Drake Maye has had a sublime season so far and there is nothing to make you think its going to change anytime soon. The second-year quarterback has a 71.7% pass completion rate with 19 touchdowns and only five interceptions.
Here they are taking on a Jets team that have struggled for most of the season but have just won their last two games. At 0-7 it felt like they were never going to get a win but wins against the Bengals and Browns have provided a lift.
Unfortunately, that lift will be short lived as they take on a Patriots side that is bursting with confidence. The handicap line is set at -12.5, take the safe option and go for the Patriots to win by at least five points.
Stefon Diggs to score a touchdown anytime
The one thing that has been levelled at the Patriots is that they donโt have a main wide receiver. There were plenty of rumours as we got close to the trade deadline that they would make a move, but they didnโt.
One of the reasons that they didnโt is the emergence of veteran wide receiver Stefon Diggs. The former Bills and Vikings star has he three touchdowns in his last three games and is averaging just under six targets a game.
He looks a solid choice to make it four touchdowns in four games and keep the Patriots train rolling.
Breece Hall to score a touchdown anytime
The one shining light in the Jets offence this season has been Breece Hall. The former Iowa State running back has rushed for 664 yards and two touchdowns with another touchdown in the passing game.
It might not sound much but the Jets havenโt produced a great deal offensively this season. He has scored three touchdowns in the last two weeks and with the Jets offence just doing better he should get some opportunities here.
Take Hall to get in the endzone and get us a winner.
