NFL Tips: Sunday Acca Predictions & Betting Odds: Week 11
Adam Martin
We seem to be on a roll now as we keep hitting four out of five and ending up losing out. This time it was the Jacksonville Jaguars who blew the bet losing a 17-point lead to the Houston Texans.
Now we move on to week 11 and we have another 6/1 accumulator that hopefully will get us a winner.

Tip 1: Atlanta Falcons -2.5 vs Carolina Panthers (Alternate handicap market)
The Falcons have had a rough few weeks and are now 3-6 going into week 11. They have lost for the last four weeks in a row, and the playoffs are looking unlikely if they keep going down this route.
Fortunately, they have got a matchup against division rivals the Carolina Panthers and they will be highly motivated for this one. It wasn’t that long ago that the Panthers beat the Falcons 30-0 in a devastating loss.
Although the Falcons have lost their last four games, they are favourites for this game. The Panthers are 5-5 and sit second in the division but although they have a better record there are some worrying signs.
Over the last four games the Panthers offence have only scored 45 points. To be averaging just over 11 points a game is shockingly low in the NFL. The defence has got them out of trouble a lot, but they might struggle to keep it going. Take the Falcons to win by three points or more.
Tip 2: Green Bay Packers -3.5 @ New York Giants (Alternate handicap market)
It’s been a rough couple of weeks for the Green Bay Packers, and they have fallen to 5-3-1. They are now third in their division, and they really need to sort things out if they want to make the playoffs.
The defence has been amazing and are ranked fifth in the NFL, but the offence has been bad, especially over the last two weeks. Scoring only 20 points over two home games is unforgivable for a Packers team that should be competing for the Super Bowl.
Here they are going up against a Giants team that have just slipped to 2-8. Sitting at the bottom of the NFC East has seen head coach Brian Dabol get fired and offensive coordinator Mike Kafka take over for the rest of the season.
Rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart left last weeks game with a concussion and wont play in this game which is going to limit the offence. With Jameis Winston starting its going to be tough for the Giants to compete as well as they would be able to with Dart. Expect the Packers to get back on track with a decent win in New York.
Tip 3: Houston Texans -3.5 @ Tennessee Titans (Alternate handicap market)
The Texans have had a rough season to say the least. They are 4-5 and sitting third in the AFC South with little chance of winning the division this season. Despite that they are still in with a chance of making the playoffs.
The defence is on fire and is ranked first in the league. Will Anderson and Danielle Hunter are destroying oppositions and are keeping their poor offence in games. CJ Stroud has struggled and is likely to miss this game through injury. Davis Mills had a solid game last week and should be alright again this week.
Here the Texans face a Titans team that have only won one game this season. They have fired their head coach already and nothing has changed. Also, they have only hit 20 points or more in a game three times this season.
Rookie quarterback Cam Ward has had a tough season so far. The former Miami star has only managed a 57.6% pass completion rate and had five touchdowns. It’s unlikely that things are going to change anytime soon for the Titans this season. Expect the Texans to beat the Titans comfortably again.
Tip 4: Baltimore Ravens -3.5 @ Cleveland Browns (Alternate handicap market)
The good times seem to be back in Baltimore after a poor start to the season. They have gone from a team gutted by injuries and a 1-5 record to a strong roster that is now 4-5. They are not far behind the Steelers now and should win this division.
The defence looks much better with their main guys back and the offence has improved with star quarterback Lamar Jackson back. He has missed some practice time this week, but he should be good to go on Sunday.
Now the Ravens face division rivals the Cleveland Browns. The Browns are sitting bottom of the AFC North with a 2-7 record and are unlikely to win many more.
Rookie quarterback Dillion Gabriel has struggled over the last six games and has only got one win. The defence is still playing well but there is only so much they can do. The Ravens should win this one easily.
Tip 5: LA Chargers -2.5 @ Jacksonville Jaguars (Alternate handicap market)
The Chargers have had a good season this year with a 7-3 record. They are still just second in their division behind the Broncos, but they are looking good for the playoffs.
Despite the mass of injuries that they have had they still are getting wins and their depth is getting them over the line. Not many teams would be able to cope with losing their two star offensive lineman but they have.
Here they are going up against a Jaguars team that are struggling to get any consistency. Over the last four weeks they have lost three times and only managed to beat the Raiders.
Travis Hunter is now out for the season and Brian Thomas has struggled to be as good as he was last season. Trevor Lawrence has also struggled for consistency, and the Jaguars defence is ranked 23rd in the league for the season.
It’s hard to see the Jaguars keep up with this Chargers team who look like they are going to be tough to beat for the rest of this season.
