Winmau World Masters Tips & Darts Predictions 2026

The PDC season may already be underway following invitational World Series events in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia earlier this month, but this marks the first opportunity for the wider tour to properly launch their campaigns.
This is the second edition of the revamped Masters, which offers all Tour Card holders ranked outside the world’s top 24, alongside selected qualifiers from secondary tours, the chance to compete for eight available places in the televised stages.
The event runs from Thursday 29th January to Sunday 1st February at the Marshall Arena in Milton Keynes.
Here at Free Bets, we've got everything you need for this weekend below!
Winmau World Masters Tournament Overview
All eyes, once again, will be on Luke Littler this weekend.
The “Nuke’s” trophy cabinet is bursting at the seams, but the World Masters is one of the few tournaments that the youngster is yet to win.
He opens his campaign against Belgium’s Mike De Decker in the first round, with Josh Rock the big danger in his quarter.
Luke Humphries is the reigning champion here and if he is to keep hold of his title in Milton Keynes then he’ll have to negate the experience of Dave Chisnall in his opening clash.
Gian van Veen — world number three and World Championship finalist from earlier this month — is the dangerman in the bottom half of the draw that Humphries will be wary of meeting.
Winmau World Masters Tips
Check out the three darts betting tips below, one outright pick, plus two selections for the first round of games.
Luke Littler to win the Winmau World Masters at 11/10 with bet365
We’ve been watching Littler on tour for a couple of years now and it’s clear he is motivated by titles and records.
The World Masters is one of a dwindling few that he hasn’t won yet, and after his Saudi Arabia success will be looking to double down and win his third big trophy in 2026.
The top half of the draw won’t be plain sailing for the teenager, but he’ll be pleased to avoid Luke Humphries and Gian van Veen until the final.
The set format of this tournament will suit Littler, fresh off the back of his second World Championship title.
Wessel Nijman to beat Jonny Clayton at 1/1 with bet365
Jonny Clayton has had an impressive 18 months on the PDC Tour, pushing his ranking up to fifth and showing the consistency that saw him collect titles in 2021.
But we’re waiting for the talented Wessel Nijman to explode onto the scene, and this could offer the Dutch qualifier to do so in a competitive segment of the draw.
Nijman, 25, had a forgettable 2025 campaign on the tour but has the raw talent to cause upsets against any of the seeds this week.
Evens for the Dutchman may possibly be priced a bit short, but we’re jumping on it anyway.
Gian van Veen 3-2 Ryan Joyce at 15/4 with bet365
Gian van Veen is a special talent and a future world champion, but he’s still lacking that experience and toughness to glide seamlessly through the early stages of tournaments.
He’s definitely got the odd hiccup in him, with his number 3 world ranking looking a little inflated.
Still, we expect him to get past Ryan Joyce in the opening round, but he might have to fight for it. 3-2 spits out a monster price of 15/4 with betting sites, in what could be a back and forth match from the opening dart.

He's been scribbling for Free Bets since 2019 and is the man in the know regarding any big boxing events across the globe, as well as the action from the darts oche and snooker baize. If it's worth watching, he'll be writing about it!
