Yes, this was a significant milestone for BV Gaming, as it embraced an SaaS model (software as a service) to roll out the site.
Designed to capture the excitement of sports betting, Puntit UK is trying to plot its own path. Although Puntit has been inspired by BetVictor and talkSPORT Bet, Puntit isn't as lucrative on the promotions front for new customers.
Like talkSPORT Bet and BetVictor, Puntit is slick and clean-cut, excelling for price boosts.
For any given sport, as you will learn in this Puntit review, has enticing price boosts that replicates talKSPORT Bet, but it also ranks well with Paddy Power, who have a proven track record in this area.
Puntit may be based in Gibraltar, but it is licensed and regulated by the UK Gambling Commission, giving it credibility. I prefer to engage with fully licensed sites, as the operator has the best interests of UK players at heart when it comes to protecting online transactions through strict SSL measures. User Experience - My Personal View
I've launched into the Puntit review with an overview of the desktop version, explaining how the UX stacks up. Clearly, Puntit has been inspired in its vision by talKSPORT Bet, even if the colour palette used is white and black as opposed to black and yellow. But trust me, that's not a bad thing!
After entering the site's homepage, everything was available at the click of a button, and information was well signposted. Yes, the A-Z menu of sports brought up a swathe of markets, meaning it was highly user-friendly.
Customisation-wise, there wasn't a Favourites tab found at other new sites, such as Quick Bet, but I fell in love with Lucky Dip. Here, you can land the best odds for any given event, and once you enter a stake amount, you can spin the wheel to receive a random selection. It works the same way at talkSPORT Bet, and it is available across a plethora of sports, including football and darts betting, so you won't be twiddling your thumbs!
There was also a Quick Bet feature, enabling you to place bets on the Puntit website much faster. This applies to pre-match and in play lines, and you can set your preferences for odds display, including Indonesian odds, which was unusual. I'm pleased to say there were no technical glitches on the Puntit wbsite, however, this isn't the case at other sports sites where dead links or crashes occur when the site is busy.
Puntit also gets stuck into Early Payouts. Many sites, such as bet365 and Betfred, offer just 2UP which is a premature payout if your team goes 2-0 up at any point during a game, but Puntit goes further. A 1UP offer gives players more flexibility, and great for betting on Premier League matches.
Speed is crucial, and this operator works seamlessly on all devices. Okay, I would have preferred a separate tab for FAQs on the Puntit website rather than clumping it with Help & Contact, but that's a minor quibble.
Mobile Betting Experience
Puntit takes a no-nonsense approach to betting, and the Puntit app is worth giving a go. I downloaded the iOS betting app, and it replicated the desktop experience with the same core features. It was also as smooth as the BetVictor and talkSPORT Bet apps.
Bet boosts at Puntit were extremely competitive, faring well alongside the likes of BetMGM and bet365, however, I relished the enhanced accas, especially when odds were raised from 8/1 to 9/1 which is decent. These were easy to unlock, and for price boosts, odds were inflated from 17/2 to 19/2, so plenty to feast on here!
Given it is early days, the Puntit app hasn't received many reviews. Although it gained a perfect five-star rating, only 29 ratings were supplied on last check, so not much to go on by. That said, BV Gaming has fixed bugs to ensure a smooth performance, and I couldn't ask for much more than that.
Cash Out is available across all devices at Puntit and for many betting options. Just look for the small 'cash icon' illustrating eligible markets, but you can cash out bets seamlessly, and this is a testament to the quality of this site.
Oh, and the snazzy live betting product is worth touching on. Puntit offers cutting-edge graphics detailing the action as it unfolds. A full breakdown of stats was available for tennis, including first serve points won and double faults, and this reminded me of what I found at other betting sites, such as LiveScoreBet.
I was a little disappointed, however, by the live streaming service. Currently, it was limited to table tennis, horse racing, eSports and greyhound racing. Also, I spotted punters often needed to place a minimum £1 bet to access live streaming, whereas at other betting sites, you just need to have a placed a bet within the past 24 hours, so something to address.
I would also liked to have seen a Request A Bet feature like at Coral, given that you can find competitive odds for more niche lines, and some punters like to deviate from the norm. This could be looked at moving forward.
Puntit Betting Markets & Odds
The Puntit website isn't short on betting markets or sports to wager on (29 in total). There are hundreds of events plugged daily with tons of betting types. I think Puntit has been quite adept with its approach to Specials.
During the football off-season, I was kept occupied with manager specials, such as 'First manager to get sacked' or the 'Next Arsenal manager appointed' prompted intrigue, going beyond the standard offering at other bookies.
Price boosts aside, Puntit delivers for bet builders, and it was a breeze creating my own. For football, the bet builders extended to corners, total goals over/under, and player props which was healthy, comparing well alongside traditional sports betting titans.
Competitive odds are a selling point of the Puntit website. While football and tennis deserve plaudits, Puntit is knocking it out of the park for its cricket coverage. I was delighted with the range of markets, and excluding Lucky Dip, I located Test match player props, such as the number of fours or sixes that Shubman Gill could notch up for India against England, which was almost unheard of elsewhere. I think Puntit has gone the extra mile to connect with players who want value for money.
Meanwhile, football has a £500,000 daily maximum payout, which might seem reasonable, but it is smaller than Coral and Ladbrokes. The daily maximum payout for other sports, such as horse racing, stands at £100,000, whereas the figure posted for BetVictor is £500,000, so that was slightly alarming given the similarities between the two operators.
Although horse racing is well covered at Puntit, with an array of markets for domestic and international meets, it has missed a trick by not having targeted deals. Not having Best Odds Guaranteed or Extra Places like Betfred, where you can get paid out on four places instead of three, is an oversight, so the site developers should look to rectify this.
While the markets are lightning-fast, the live streaming product wasn't as well-polished as I would have liked. Having more sports readily available to stream would elevate things.

Puntit is hardly flushed with promotions. Aside from the welcome offer, the Lucky Dip is applicable across many sports, and complete with cracking odds.
The same could be said of the constant flux of price boosts, but Puntit needs to expand its repertoire of bonuses.

Puntit holds up well for customer service, and the live chat instantly connected with me the AI-powered assistant, Fin the bot. From there, I was given a wide range of topics to pick from, but my query was handled professionally and efficiently.
There is an email address, but response times were generally slower, so something to bear in mind. Puntit doesn't have much of a social media presence, but it has a brilliant FAQs area. A glance at this section showed there were 31 questions related to payments, so that made up for things.
