Belgium vs Egypt Tips, Predictions & 15/1 Bet Builder
Scott McGlynn

Belgium will look to address years of failed promise when they take on Egypt in their opening Group G game in Seattle on Monday evening.
The Red Devils have a few core members of the golden generation remaining from their painful 2022 campaign in Qatar, while Egypt will be turning out for its fifth World Cup Finals appearance.
But what should you look out for? Our preview contains tips and free bet offers to jump on ahead of kick-off.
Belgium vs Egypt Tips
Here are our top three World Cup betting tips and the best free bets ahead of this game.
Tip 1: Belgium to win to nil
Perennially hyped up before any major tournament, the Belgians have often fluffed their lines, and their group-stage exit four years ago exemplifies this.
The appointment of Rudi Garcia as head coach last year may have raised a few eyebrows; however, he serenely guided the Red Devils to the World Cup Finals following an undefeated qualifying campaign.
Egypt, however, have found the World Cup to be a more jarring experience. Indeed, only Honduras have contested more World Cup matches (9) than Egypt (7) without winning.
In the head-to-head record, we only have friendlies to go by, and Egypt clinched a 2-1 victory in their most recent meeting with Belgium in 2022.
Although Belgium’s major tournament shortcomings have been well documented, I expect them to get off to a strong start this time round, and the win to nil line is appealing.
Tip 2: Time of 1st goal (21st-30th minute)
Judging by their recent pre-World Cup preparations, Belgium have been slow out of the blocks, aside from the 5-0 thrashing of Tunisia.
The same could be said of Egypt. Apart from cruising to a 4-0 win over Saudi Arabia, where they surged into a two-goal cushion after 16 minutes, they’re not at full throttle. Then again, friendlies are designed to be experimental, so perhaps you can’t read too much into them.
This encounter could be quite open, and I expect plenty of chances to be fashioned. The goal timing line is inviting, and for my second tip, I’m backing the deadlock to be broken within the 21st to 30th minute range.
Tip 3: Belgium to win to nil, Jeremy Doku to score or assist & Egypt to hit the woodwork
Belgium may not be talked up as a serious World Cup contender, but they possess plenty of firepower, and they could have too much for Egypt. The win to nil line is calling out.
Although Kevin De Bruyne is Belgium’s creative totem, it’s hard to overlook the impact Jeremy Doku had for Manchester City in the closing stages of last season. Doku to score or assist across the 90 minutes is feasible.
Round off the bet builder with Egypt to be frustrated. They may have a few sighters at goal, but they could be denied by the woodwork.
