We’ve got a straight shoot out for top spot in Group I on Friday, as Norway and France go head-to-head in Boston.
With six points each, Norway and France — led by their talismanic forwards Killian Mbappe and Erling Haaland — are unsurprisingly into the knockout stages of this year’s World Cup, both looking fluid in attack in their two wins from two so far.
A win for either side on Friday would see them take a slight advantage into the round of 32, playing one of the third-placed finishers in New Jersey at the start of next week.
But with that also comes danger — a possible round of 16 clash against Germany.

Tip 1: Michael Olise to score or assist
Michael Olise is having a big influence at this tournament already — as expected after his exceptional season in a Bayern Munich shirt.
He has assisted four in France’s two group games so far, and with an open 90 minutes expected in Boston it would be a surprise if he didn’t continue to have a say on proceedings.
Olise made 31 assists in 52 matches across his 2025-26 club season, so another against Norway looks to be worth jumping on at Evens.
