Scotland vs Brazil Tips, Predictions & 14/1 Bet Builder

With the way that other results have gone and how the other groups are looking, Scotland need to get at least a point against Brazil to feel safe in qualifying as one of the best third placed teams.
The one thing that could be a saving grace for Scotland is that their goal difference currently sits at 0 after a 1-0 win against Haiti which was followed by a 1-0 defeat to Morocco who now sit in second place.
With a couple of games left in match day two, Scotland sit second place of the third best placed teams but that will surely change as match day three starts. Brazil put themselves in an excellent position after blowing away Haiti 3-0.
They scored all their goals in the first half and had goals disallowed in either half also. The reality is that it was three going on ten and it could have been any scoreline that Brazil wanted it to be as they also hit the bar and had another few decent chances.
If Scotland defend like they did against Haiti or for the first half against Morocco then Brazil could go on another scoring spree with the firepower they have in attack.

Scotland vs Brazil Tips
Here are our top three World Cup betting tips and the best free bets ahead of this game.
Tip 1: Vinicius Junior to score
Pretty self-explanatory this one and shouldn’t need too much in-depth analysis. Vini Jr., when on top form, is Brazil’s best forward and he’s already scored twice in this World Cup. With the runs that he’ll make off the Scotland defenders alongside his ability to drop in and drive forward. I think he’ll get plenty of chances.
If Scotland defend anything like they did in the opening couple of minutes against Morocco, then he’ll end up with chances exactly like Ismael Saibari did and he doesn’t need many to get goals/
Expect England to take care of business again but for the Ghanian attack to do more than what they did against Panama.
Tip 2: Scott McTominay to have 1+ shots on target
Scott McTominay will always be one of Scotland’s main attacking threats when he plays. He’s a threat crashing into the box, can shoot from range and also a big set-piece threat. I don’t imagine Scotland will play the same type of football as Brazil and would be very surprised if they cut the South American’s open freely, unless on the counter attack.
That means that a moment of magic, ala Denmark at Hampden, may be needed for Scotland to break Brazil down and the rest of the team may look to McTominay to provide that.
He rattled the post against Haiti and was involved in most of the decent attacks against Morocco, is this the game where he’ll get his World Cup goal?
Tip 3: Vinicius Junior to score, Scott McTominay to have 1+ shots on target & Grant Hanley to be shown a card
The two selections above look well suited to a bet builder when combined with Grant Hanley to be shown a card.
Given how he defended for the Morocco goal, I would have fears over Hanley vs this Brazil forward line if I was Steve Clarke but I still think he will start. With forwards like Vini Jr, Raphinha and Cunha running at him, I predict a dirty foul here or there to slow the game down.
He’s not athletic or intelligent enough to deal with Brazil’s movement, in my opinion so he’s my pick for a booking.
