Sweden vs Tunisia Tips, Predictions & Odds
Craig Jones

Group F is one of the tougher draws in the tournament, and Sweden cannot afford a slow start.
With the Netherlands and Japan also in the section, Tunisia is the one fixture where Graham Potter's side are clear favourites, and they want the points banked before the harder games arrive.
There is a real gap in class here. Sweden have Alexander Isak and Viktor Gyokeres, two of the best centre-forwards in Europe, while Tunisia are the lowest-ranked team in the group and have never once made it out of a World Cup group.
We've got three betting tips for ahead of Sunday's clash in Nuevo Leon, plus the top World Cup free bets currently available.
Sweden vs Tunisia Tips
Here are our top three World Cup betting tips and the best free bets ahead of this game.
Tip 1: Sweden to win
Sweden are short enough in the betting, but it's hard to argue with the market.
The Scandinavians boast far more quality at both ends of the pitch than Tunisia, and, on paper at least, this looks like one of the more straightforward opening fixtures for any of the European contenders.
Jon Dahl Tomasson's side arrive with momentum after coming through the European play-offs, including a 3-2 victory over Poland in the final, while Tunisia's route to the World Cup was far less demanding.
Ellyes Skhiri remains their standout performer, but there is a lack of proven match-winners elsewhere in the squad and their World Cup record remains modest, with no appearances beyond the group stage.
The only slight concern is the nature of the contest itself.
Opening group games can often be cagey affairs, particularly when an underdog is expected to sit deep and frustrate.
Add in the late-night conditions in Monterrey, and this may not be a match that catches fire immediately.
Even so, Sweden should eventually have too much quality, and it would be a surprise if they failed to begin their campaign with three points.
Tip 2: Alexander Isak to score
If Sweden are to start their World Cup campaign with a victory, there is a strong chance one of their star strikers will be on the scoresheet.
With both Alexander Isak and Viktor Gyokeres priced at 7/5 in the anytime goalscorer market, the value lies with Isak, who is expected to lead the line and should be at the centre of Sweden's attacking play throughout.
Against a Tunisia side expected to defend deep and concede possession, the majority of Sweden's best chances should fall to their frontmen.
With Sweden heavily fancied to create opportunities and Isak possessing the quality to convert them, 7/5 looks a generous price about one of the tournament's most dangerous forwards finding the net.
Tip 3: Both teams to score, Viktor Gyokeres to score & Yasin Ayari to provide an assist
Sweden should enjoy the majority of possession and create plenty of chances, but their recent defensive record suggests Tunisia can also play a part.
Both teams have scored in each of Sweden's last six matches, while the Scandinavians have failed to keep a clean sheet in their last 11 outings, conceding 23 goals during that spell.
With Tunisia also leaking goals regularly, backing both teams to score makes plenty of appeal.
Yasin Ayari adds further value in the assist market.
The Brighton midfielder has become an increasingly important creative outlet for Sweden, registering assists in three of his last five club appearances before also setting up a goal in the play-off victory over Poland.
Operating from the right-hand side, he should have opportunities to supply Sweden's dangerous front line.
The final piece of the puzzle is Viktor Gyokeres to score.
While Alexander Isak will attract plenty of support, Gyokeres gets the nod after ending the warm-up schedule with a goal against Greece and looking the sharper of Sweden's two star forwards.
The Arsenal striker enjoyed a solid campaign at club level and will relish facing a Tunisia defence that has conceded in seven of its last nine matches.
If the game unfolds as expected, Ayari's creativity and Gyokeres' finishing ability could prove decisive in a match that has all the ingredients for goals at both ends.
